Basics
A horoscope is a schematic representation of the Sun, Moon and planets in the sky at the time of birth. It is a circle divided by 360° representing the apparent path of the Sun, called the ecliptic, but in reality the path of the Earth around the Sun. Astrologers divide it into 12 parts, 12 signs of the Zodiac. They do not match the constellations of the same name.

CALCULATION

Knowledge of advanced mathematics is not required. Time of birth - the positions of the planets are determined relative to the ecliptic, the sign of the Zodiac and the horizon (house). To do this, you need to know the exact time of birth, the moment when the newborn breathes on its own for the first time, and blood circulation through the umbilical cord stops. In maternity hospitals, this time is usually rounded up to 5 minutes and recorded.
Latitude and longitude - Greenwich Mean Time plus 1 hour is equal to SEV, i.e. SEV - I hour = Greenwich Mean Time. In the following specific example, we will show how the calculation is done. Birth June 5, 1942 at 9 a.m. 30 min in Basel.
1) The time of birth is given in CEB, and from 4.5.42 to 5.10.42, summer time is introduced in Switzerland. This man was born at 8 o'clock. 30 min SEV = 7 hrs. 30 minutes GMT.
