Astrology of personality transformation. Konstantin Daragan

Astrology of personality transformation. Konstantin Daragan.

REQUIRED INTRODUCTION.
The main commandment says: it is easy to adopt a method, it is difficult to surpass a method. But to transcend the method is above all.

Dale Carnegie once told a remarkable story. One day, when he began to look for practical guidance on a topic of interest to him - on overcoming anxiety, he was amazed that such books practically did not exist. And then I decided to write such a guide myself. Any practitioner who seriously decides to use astrology as an independent tool aimed at changing himself and his destiny feels the same way. Astrology successfully makes "diagnoses", but not so successfully prescribes "treatment". Any thoughtful reader or practicing astrologer is faced with the fact that the existing literature on karmic astrology is often not original, unsystematic, or even simply not effective. And such a vital topic as "working out a horoscope" is understood and interpreted in a completely arbitrary way and even still does not have its own name. The main question that clients ask the astrologer and astrologers themselves ask is the question "what to do?", and it often remains unanswered.
It would seem that such important topics for modern astrology as karmic astrology or the astrology of transformation (impact) should have been worked out in detail by now. However, it is not. The topic, which is systematically presented in this book, is still one of the most controversial and controversial. It comes to a paradoxical situation - many so-called "serious astrologers" generally bypass this slippery area, doing more "reliable" and "safe" things for their reputation, trying in every possible way to show that they are engaged in science, not magic. Although very many even have no idea what scientific methodology is. As a result, in this field of knowledge there is a colossal number of heterogeneous theories and superstitions. It is still unscientific, and the reluctance of many experts to have anything to do with these superstitions is understandable. How successfully and with humor one of my familiar practitioners described the situation: “Soon, for the word“ karma ”they will give in the face ...”
Is such a situation possible? appeared for two reasons. Firstly, karmic astrology is very tightly connected with philosophy and religion. In fact, each astrologer, in accordance with his religious and philosophical worldview, has his own view on this subject, which often has nothing in common not only with the views of other astrologers, but with serious knowledge in general. Secondly, and most importantly, this area requires systemic collective experience, massive experimental data.
The second problem is much more serious, and the existing literature on karmic astrology confirms this. Many publications have been published on this topic, which sin either by theorizing out of touch with life, or built solely on the visionary experience of one author. Moreover, this experience is often comprehended uncritically and modestly affirmed as the Absolute Truth. And if in karmic astrology there is, although different in quality, but still extensive literature, then very little and not systemically has been written about the use of astrology as an active means of making changes in the quality of one's own life. This important area does not even have its own name. Many authors, without "excessive" details, talk about the "method of correcting the horoscope", about "getting rid of karma", about "working out the qualities" of planets, aspects, and the like. Jan Kefer called this active side of astrology the term "astromagic". I do not like this term - it narrows the meaning and causes controversial associations, but there is no well-established other yet, and therefore I will sometimes use it in this book. However, in my opinion, it would be more correct to speak about the astrology of self-improvement, or the astrology of self-realization, about evolutionary astrology, in which karmic astrology and astrology of influence and transformation (astromagic) should be included as two complementary components. Traditional astrology was predictive. The modern one is predominantly psychological. Благодаря мироinым проектам по inосстаноinлению дреinних астрологических техник, таким как "ARHAT' или "Project Hindsight" ("ATзгляд in прошлое"), а также деятельности таких подinижникоin как Р.Хэнд, Н.Кэмпион и Р.Золлер, произошла поляризация астрологоin на дinа лагеря. Есть те, кто считают себя сейчас последоinателями традиционной астрологии и inидят its main value in the predictive direction. And there are those who consider astrology a modern humanitarian science that helps a person to understand himself and the other. At the same time, it is somehow forgotten that in addition to the predictive and astropsychological direction, there is also a third, in my opinion, the main direction of development - the astrology of self-realization, the alchemy of the Spirit and our Destiny. And it is inconceivable both without the predictive part and without astropsychology. In this perspective, the dispute "which is better" is purely technical in nature, without affecting the essence. Since by now there is not even a name for this direction, I propose to use the term "stalking", already established in the literature, introduced by K. Castaneda. If we do not dive into the depth of the term, then stalking is a certain purposeful behavior of a person. It is self-tracking for the purpose of self-change and self-optimization. In fact, this is a way of life when a person considers himself as a project, and astrology gives this practice a new dimension.

In this book you will find a detailed, detailed and systematic practical guide, built on experience and experiment. This is an attempt to talk about extremely complex things in a simple and understandable language. There are no complex metaphysical structures sewn together like a patchwork quilt from completely incompatible religious and philosophical systems. There are no ideas copied from other books on karmic astrology and poorly understood by the author. There is no childish game here of "secret methods" and "secret knowledge" with the long-term goal of creating the School of the Name of the Self.

And, finally, there is no main mistake here - there are no claims for the Absolute Truth of the proposed model or for the fact that it will be all-encompassing and universal. Everything that grows on the basis of experience can be neither one nor the other. In their time, NLP authors R. Bandler and D. Grinder, who made a revolution in applied psychology, described the essence of the methods they proposed as follows: "We do not offer anything true, we offer only useful things." And after them I will say: the astrology of stalking is not a dogma, not a religion, not a theory divorced from life.

There is only what needs to be understood and possibly applied.

This book cannot be read fluently, "on top", trying to recognize familiar ideas and mentally looking ahead. Text here has a very high information density. In terms of alchemy, it is a concentrate. After drinking it in one gulp, you will feel only bitterness and, possibly, lose interest in the topic. Therefore, firstly, dilute the text with your experience and thoughts and, secondly, use it in acceptable doses.

But before we move on to the methods, first I must explain on what grounds the research was carried out, how and why the material presented in this book was born. In the scientific literature, this is called "relevance, novelty and methodology." If you are a practitioner, then you can simply skip this section.
Knowledge Acquisition - Strategy

A philosopher who tries to teach metaphysical revelations that he himself has not experienced is like a donkey carrying a large load of books.

One of the problems in modern astrology is that not only was the original knowledge lost for centuries, but the remaining information reached us with significant distortions. And it's not just the problems of mistranslation. The last two centuries have added a very special kind of distortion - a huge amount of mediocre literature written on this subject. Any person who is seriously involved in astrology knows that there are not so many positions in this science that are shared by all astrologers and schools. If we add to this huge differences in religious and philosophical premises, then we get a real chaos of hypotheses and beliefs. The state of affairs in karmic astrology and astromagic is a vivid example of this.

The idea of "purification" and "revival" of astrology has been very popular in recent decades. In fact, for most astrological schools, it has become the main link of ideas, which cannot but rejoice. The only bad thing about this is that almost every such school claims to have "the only correct understanding" of the doctrine, while falling into the "infantile disease of leftism" (we borrow the expression of a well-known politician). It is enough just to read the relevant monographs, and even better - the relevant Internet forums. Emotions spill out there no worse than in politics. In principle, astrology has long been engaged in self-purification. Traditional authors such as Culpeper, Lilly, Bonatti and Ben Ezra, in turn, argue with even more ancient ones. You don't have to be a seer to understand that this trend has always existed.

There are only a few ways to solve the described problem seriously. And, although they do not contradict each other (and theoretically they should complement each other), nevertheless, any serious book on astrology will be built mainly on one of these strategies. I will list - new effective knowledge can be obtained:

1. In the traditional way - by studying the tradition and / or learning from its bearers.

2. Theoretically - relying on the existing system of knowledge and developing it in a given direction.

3. In a direct way - through
