Tapping the Liver Meridian

Tapping liver meridian
The external course of the liver meridian begins on the inside of the first toe, passes along the inner surface of the foot, lower leg, thigh, goes to the midline of the abdomen and from there follows to the 6th intercostal space.

The internal course of the meridian from the intercostal space follows through the stomach, liver and gallbladder. One branch of the meridian from the liver goes to the chest cavity, then to the throat, pharynx, passes through the frontal and parietal regions. The second branch of the channel from the liver goes to the lungs.

Meridian includes 14 external points. We are working on 6 of them.

To effectively massage the liver channel, it is enough to carry out vigorous pats and taps on the inside of both legs, starting from the thumbs. The direction of movement is from bottom to top. The time of maximum activity is from 01 am to 03 am, this period, of course, falls on the time of sleep. You can use the time of the total concentration of energy from 21 to 23 hours for work. That is, we work together with the meridian of the gallbladder. The main thing is not to carry out therapy during the passivity of the channel (for the liver meridian – from 13 to 15 hours, for the gallbladder meridian – from 11 to 13 hours).
Place your right foot on any hill, or we can perform a massage in a sitting position, stretching your legs. Let’s start the massage with light clapping with the palm of your hand. We move from the foot in the following areas:

• Big toe (approximately point 1 da-dun of the liver meridian).

• Dorsal surface of the foot (approximately point 3 xing jian of the liver meridian).

• The middle of the lower leg (point 6 Zhong-du liver meridian).

• Lateral surface of the knee (point 7 qi-guan of the liver meridian).

• Inner surface of the thigh (above point 9 Yin-bao of the liver meridian).

• Thigh at the level of the perineum (at the level of point 10 Zu-wu-li of the liver meridian).

Thus, we should get 6 pats per pass. There should be 20 such approaches. Then tap your fist, applying more effort, as if making it heavier. There should also be 20 such approaches. Let’s change the position of the legs and perform tapping of the liver channel on the left leg. Ideally, after a while should perform massage tapping for 10-15 minutes on each leg.
