Doctors’ diet: emergency diet therapy in 14 days

Official medicine has a strictly negative attitude towards emergency methods of losing weight. And this has at least five reasons: deficiency of vitamins and microelements, which negatively affects the condition of the skin and hair; disturbances in the work of the gastrointestinal tract, which smoothly flow into gastritis and stomach ulcers; impaired renal function; starvation of the brain and, as a result, deterioration of memory and psychomotor reactions; exiting the diet is almost always fraught with weight gain. In fact, the consequences can be much more. And yet there is an emergency diet, developed by representatives of official medicine and designed for a loss of up to 10 kg per week, which is called the “medical diet”. This diet was developed for urgent weight loss of patients before surgery, and its goal was to reduce the risk of postoperative complications. Initially, it was carried out in a hospital and under the strict supervision of doctors. But today the secret of the diet has left the walls of hospitals, and many diet lovers have ventured to try it out for themselves.

Basic principles of the diet of physicians The task of the diet of physicians is to dramatically reduce the amount of fat masses that can become an obstacle during a surgical operation within a short period of time. There are two diet plans for doctors – for 14 and 7 days. The result of the diet of physicians in terms of weight loss can vary from 5 to 13 kilograms. The diet of physicians hits all the components of a complete diet. According to this nutrition system, liquid is limited to 1.5 liters per day, and on control days – up to half a liter. Solid food for most of the period is completely excluded, or allowed in minimal quantities. In fact, the diet of physicians is a semi-dry fasting, alternating with protein days. So, with problems with the kidneys, anemia, weakness and other painful conditions, the diet is contraindicated. A nutrition system of this kind is prohibited during pregnancy and lactation, diseases of the cardiovascular system and chronic fatigue syndrome. And if you consult a doctor before using the diet, then with a high degree of probability you will receive expert advice to refuse this test for the body. But reviews of the diet of physicians still indicate that experimenters who are ready to lose weight in this way without medical supervision are still there. And those who withstands at least one week, they say that the result of the diet of physicians is simply stunning. Emergency diet for 7 days The seven-day diet of physicians is designed to gradually reduce the proportion of liquid in the diet. 1 day – only 1.5 liters of mineral water is allowed. Day 2 – during the day you can drink 1 liter of low-fat milk, and eat a green apple before going to bed. Day 3 – Repeat the first day. Day 4 – a salad of 500 g of cabbage, two carrots, 150 g of greens and 1 tsp. olive oil. During the day, you can drink 2 cups of green tea. Day 5 – 1 liter of milk. Day 6 – boiled egg and green tea without sugar for breakfast, vegetable broth for lunch, 100 g of boiled dietary meat for lunch, 100 g of green peas for afternoon tea and one green apple for dinner. Day 7 – 200 ml of milk, 100 g of cottage cheese and 500 ml of kefir. Medical diet for 14 days

If the patient needs to lose more than 10 kg of weight, he is prescribed a diet for 14 days. However, the body of a starving person may be so weakened as a result that it is recommended to completely exclude physical activity. The first part of the doctors’ diet for 14 days completely repeats the scheme of the previous week. The next week tightens the diet even more. Day 8 is the same as the first day. Day 9 – as the second day of the diet. Day 10 is like the first day. Day 11 – like the fourth day of the diet, but without tea. Day 12 – repeats the fifth day of the diet of physicians. Day 13 – one hard-boiled egg and 100 g low-fat cottage cheese. Day 14 – as the first day of the diet. As you can see, almost the majority of the diet is mineral water. Therefore, for those who are prone to gastritis with high acidity, the diet of physicians, according to nutritionists, is strictly prohibited. Exit from the diet During the diet, the body experiences severe dehydration and exhaustion. Therefore, during the entire experiment, it is recommended to avoid sports and any physical activity, ideally bed rest is recommended. Since physical exhaustion reduces the speed of reactions, it is worth refraining from driving, as well as from mental stress. The exit from the diet should be quite smooth, if only because the volume of the stomach decreases and the metabolism is rebuilt. At the end of the diet of doctors, you can eat meat and vegetable broths, after a while switch to cereals and baked vegetables. Fatty foods should be limited, and to maintain optimal well-being, it is worth drinking at least 1.5 liters of water daily. Results and reviews of the diet of doctors The result of the diet of doctors will depend on the initial weight, level of physical activity and, of course, the persistence of losing weight. One day of water fasting allows you to lose about 1 kg of excess weight. In the diet of physicians for 14 days, such fasting accounts for about a third of the entire period. But although water days alternate with salad, meat and dairy days, reviews of the doctors’ diet suggest that rarely anyone has the will for a full course. The obvious results of the diet of physicians, in addition to losing kilograms, include a decrease in the amount of food needed for saturation. And the disadvantages include a slowdown in metabolism, which, with a sharp return to the usual diet, can cause weight gain. Therefore, it is worthwhile to strictly weigh the pros and cons before trusting the rave reviews about the diet of doctors and trying it on yourself.
