Ayurvedic Cleansing for Healthy Skin

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian “magical” science of beauty and health, based on the relationship of the human body with nature. The historical roots of this science date back several millennia, and the methods are still not always understood at the modern scientific and medical level. But, despite this, the laws of Ayurveda are used with great success in cosmetology, with the help of which high results are achieved in the field of rejuvenation and preventing premature aging of the skin of the face.
The principle of washing according to Ayurveda is to cleanse the skin of the face with a special herbal powder without the use of water. This Ayurvedic facial wash is called ubtan and is a multifunctional cleanser that replaces the use of a gel cleanser, scrub or peel, as well as a nourishing facial mask. Moreover, the variety of recipes for preparing ubtan allows you to choose the right composition for solving any cosmetic and even dermatological problems (neurodermatitis, eczema, dermatitis, etc.).

Thus, washing according to Ayurveda is a complex facial skin care procedure, with which you can preserve the beauty and youth of the skin of the face without resorting to the services of professional cosmetologists.

Ayurvedic washing consists of several stages:

– Skin cleansing from dust, dirt and makeup residues with a special cosmetic product suitable for skin type (tonic, lotion, milk, emulsion).

– Cooking ubtan. To do this, the Ayurvedic mixture for washing is soaked with spring or mineral water, decoctions of herbs or sour-milk products (depending on skin type) to a paste-like state.

– Facial massage. This stage is the main stage of skin cleansing. During it, ubtan is applied to the skin and rubbed into the skin with soft massaging movements. It is recommended to carry out this stage of washing for at least 5 minutes, after which the remnants of the herbal paste from the skin tissues must be removed using cotton pads moistened with purified water or herbal decoction and allow the skin to dry naturally.

It’s important to know! Despite the complete safety and naturalness, Ayurvedic washing should not be used during acute infectious or fungal diseases of the skin of the face, as well as in the presence of open wounds and ulcers.
