Healthy nutrition for obesity.

The basic principle of treating obesity, regardless of its nature, is drastic caloric restriction. All other methods, including the use of medications, play a secondary role. At the same time, patients should be warned against the use of standard diets, as they often do not meet the individual needs of the body. As a result, even if a seemingly perfect diet is observed, the patient does not get the desired result.

Nutrition should be balanced, with the restriction of easily digestible carbohydrates (their replacement with low-calorie sweeteners is acceptable) and an increase in the proportion of protein. Prolonged stay on low-protein diets causes disorders in the liver, cardiovascular system and other organs.

Food is fractional, at least 6 times a day, foods that stimulate appetite (spicy snacks, spices, etc.) are excluded from the diet, salt intake is limited (up to 5 g per day). The latter is an indispensable condition for the successful treatment of obesity. Be sure to spend unloading days. According to the indications, it is possible to use courses of therapeutic fasting of various durations.
The daily calorie content of the diet is calculated individually, based on height, constitution, degree of obesity, gender, physical activity.
