Secrets of centenarians

It turns out that there are not so few centenarians in Russia. But most importantly, their way of life is in some ways very similar. What is the secret of active longevity? Does health come from God, from lifestyle, or do many factors influence here? In order to at least slightly reveal this eternal secret, it is not enough to have even the most complete information about only one centenarian. As a result of the surveys and studies, the secrets of a long and happy life for these people became clear.

Faith and humility

It turns out that all long-livers are sincere people, believers. All of them are distinguished by humility of spirit, a complete absence of pride. Even in their young years, they were never cocky or obstinate, they did not envy anyone. Going to bed and getting up early in the morning, they always prayed. Every day, everyone worked for a long time or was on the move.

Proper nutrition

Their food was ordinary, mostly rural. Eat at the same hours and never overeat. Food, especially bread, as well as prayer, were treated with reverent respect. None of the centenarians was fond of strong drinks. They drank a little only at weddings, christenings, and on annual holidays, and then – for a sincere conversation, songs in several voices and unpretentious fun. And none of them ever smoked. And they had no idea about drugs.

Bath

But everyone loved the bath. In the garden behind the house, some villagers had their own wooden bathhouse with a hot steam room and a cold dressing room for undressing. They drowned it for several yards in a clubbing. Having steamed up, lashed with an oak broom, they doused themselves with ice water, and rolled in a snow drift. After the bath, they drank fragrant tea infused with medicinal herbs from local meadows. In the field and on their courtyard estate, each of them spent a third of his life barefoot.

Physical activity

The studied centenarians never had a fear of death or upcoming illnesses. Rather, they always treated this calmly, with humility of spirit. From a young age, people of physical labor had no time for sports: they were so tired at work. Others, from employees, were at one time athletes, but not for records. They showed interest in sports games, ran a little, did gymnastics – all in the interests of their own health.

Calm and measured life

There are no evil, capricious, uncompromising and vindictive among such people. All their lives they adhere to the rule: “Fear God, honor the king, and do not anger the brownie.” Everyone had a working, measured, without any excesses, decent life. They valued their family: what kind of sex in the current concept, everything is from the evil one. There was faith, mutual support and a stable morale. No one tormented himself, everyone treated failures with wise calmness.
