From routine to pleasure

Each of us knows the feeling of despondency and persecution from the need to perform daily routine tasks. Work, study, household chores – sooner or later we feel tired and an urgent need to escape from everyday life. “I’m tired”, “I don’t want”, “I’m tired”, “I don’t like this job (study, etc.), but I have to” – with these thoughts we fall asleep, wake up and spend the day.
But what to do if there is no opportunity to relax, change the environment and enrich yourself with new impressions? The answer to this question lies within ourselves, in our imagination and self-knowledge. Let’s try to reveal in ourselves a huge range of possibilities of our mysterious “I”.
There are, of course, well-known relaxation methods that help you relax and get a dose of positive. But now I want to help you cope with specific sensations and become stronger than them.
“I’m tired” “I don’t want, I don’t love!”
Usually we struggle with this in a banal way – we force ourselves to do something that does not bring us satisfaction and positive. It seems to us that this is commendable, we train willpower and feel like heroes. But in reality, this is violence against oneself.

In this case, instead of the usual word “Need!” Let’s get motivated! And the motivation is not banal, like: “I need to earn money”, “I need to get a diploma” and the like, but to open up goals and prospects that will be an incentive to fulfill everyday obligations with enthusiasm and pleasure.

In our imagination, we must constantly change minus to plus. Let’s try to look into the eyes of our problem and find out the reasons. “I don’t like my job/study” WHY? Low income?

We write on paper: “I will earn more.” We go to bed in full confidence that, even if not immediately, we will definitely achieve this, we have ALREADY begun to do this, we can do it. Your brain will begin to think in this way, look for solutions. But we have to BELIEVE in it. Our thoughts are material, this is not a secret, besides, such an attitude cheers up and improves efficiency.

Unpleasant staff/teachers? We write before going to bed: “You cannot harm me, I am full of energy and positive.” Don’t like your work/study? We remember only the positive that is associated with work (even if it is not much), and we wish to increase it, or get another occupation. We write about it.

And after that we set ourselves even sky-high goals, which we want to achieve. And we are convinced that with this approach, motivation, enthusiasm, and a taste for the occupation will appear.

“I’m tired!”

We start the working / school day with pleasant little things. Sacrifice 10 minutes of morning sleep for a shower – they will pay for themselves. Let the jets of water at a comfortable temperature caress our body and charge it with positivity. To do this, we think about the good: it can be pleasant memories, cherished dreams, even the most unusual ones, or simply imagine how our desires come true. This will already lift your spirits.

And then – both during preparations for work / class (bringing yourself in order, breakfast, way to work / study), and during even the shortest breaks from work, we try to notice pleasant little things around us that actually mean a lot in our life: someone’s sincere smile, a beautiful picture, sunny weather…

There are many things and events around us that can and should be smiled at! Just get used to noticing them! This will undoubtedly bring variety to our lives, and everyday reality will sparkle with other colors!

And we must remember: we can do anything! You just need to learn to think correctly and believe in your abilities!
