The experience of getting rid of fear

Fear is a feeling cultivated since childhood. All our problems come from a distant, carefree time. Everyone can remember how his parents, grandparents scared him: “Don’t go there, you will fall, it will hurt. “Babayka” will steal you”, and many other horror stories, for which our older generation had enough imagination.

Gaining courage, eliminating fears

I, the mother of wonderful girls, while raising them, very often remember myself at different stages of my life, trying not to make mistakes in the development of a small personality. The brightest and, indeed, significant in my life is the birth of babies. Like many parents, I dream of raising worthy, and most importantly, happy people.

She herself grew up as a very timid child, in our family determination and courage were not particularly welcomed, especially since I spent most of the time with my grandmother. By adolescence, various phobias have accumulated a sufficient number. In turn, hormonal surges led me, at certain moments, to extreme actions. I managed to cope with the fear of open water only at the age of 14 – I managed to overcome the horror squeezing my mind with the support of my brother. Trusting myself to him, overcoming the stiffness of my movements, I managed to free myself from the fear that oppressed my body. Plunging into the events of the early years, I comprehended the simple truth that it is always better to lend a helping hand to the baby and teach him elementary things, and not scare him with the consequences of actions that have not yet been implemented.

Gaining courage, eliminating fears

As time passed, new, more insidious fears appeared, blocking the realization of my desires. Dependence on the opinions of others often stopped me from doing all sorts of things. What will they think of me – some kind of crazy! where does she fit in? what is her business? There was no question of expressing one’s opinion for all to see. Public performances seemed pre-failed and boring. It was at this moment that the knowledge of autogenic training came in handy – to believe in your own strengths, free your mind from unnecessary rubbish and set a goal that can really be achieved in a short time. Moving in small steps towards her goal, eliminating the errors of society on her way, she strove for the diversified development of herself.

In overcoming fears, it is better to put small tasks and a deadline for their completion, then horror leaves our eyes, and a rainbow appears on the horizon. After each tiny victory, you begin to believe in yourself and set yourself more difficult options for tasks. The progressive solution of problems does not frighten, but motivates us to improve ourselves and the world around us.

Fear is a state of suffering of our soul, dissatisfaction with ourselves, but courage gives us a sense of dignity, security and reliability in life. Having acquired the skill of getting rid of even a very small fear, we open the world from a different side. Cultivating courage and valor, we become an example for the younger generation. Man is a unique creature, he gets used to the proposed circumstances in a short time. Going on about their invented fears, we lose pleasure. Setting yourself up for a favorable outcome, relieving excitement and tension, believing in yourself, you start a positive cycle of events.
