Carrot and potato juice

I recently discovered a useful, and most importantly, easy-to-prepare drink. And now I will tell you how to make carrot-potato juice. Quite an unusual combination, but it’s really tasty.

Preparation description:
Juice is best consumed immediately, as potato juice darkens rather quickly and the drink may lose its appetizing appearance.
This juice is rich in vitamins, but you should not abuse it, because oversaturation of the body with vitamins does not bring any benefits.
Ingredients:
Potatoes – 2 Pieces
Carrots – 8 Pieces
Granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon

Servings: 3-4

How to make Carrot Potato Juice
step 1 Potatoes need to be peeled, and then grated on a coarse grater. You can also use a fine grater, but it will be more difficult to squeeze the juice. Young potatoes have a more tender juice, it is better to use it if possible.
step 2 Do the same with carrots: peel them and grate them. But in this case, it is necessary to take only a fine grater. You can add a pinch of cinnamon to carrots.
step 3 Now you need to squeeze the juice. For convenience, take a wide bowl into which you will squeeze the juice. You will also need a piece of clean gauze. Fold the cheesecloth in two layers, put a few tablespoons of potatoes on it, twist the cheesecloth into a bag and squeeze the juice into a bowl. Do the same with the rest of the potatoes and carrots.
step 4 of this amount of vegetables will turn out from 300 to 500 ml. juice. If desired, add sugar to the juice, wait until it dissolves, and pour into glasses. To preserve the color, you can add a few drops of lemon to the drink.
