Rice porridge with pumpkin

Pumpkin is considered a very useful product. It has many vitamins. Ascorbic acid will boost immunity, B vitamins strengthen hair and nails. Pumpkin calms the nervous system.

Preparation description:
If you add pumpkin to milk porridge, the porridge will turn out healthier and tastier.
Ingredients:
Rice – 1 glass
Milk – 1 glass
Pumpkin – 400 Grams
Butter – to taste

How to cook Pumpkin Rice Porridge
1. Rinse and grate the pumpkin on a medium grater. Pour 2 cups of water into a saucepan and put the grated pumpkin into it. Cook it for 15 minutes over low heat. Pumpkin cooks quickly, but if it is boiled first, the broth will be more saturated and the pumpkin will turn into a puree.
2. Sort rice and soak in cold boiled water for 30 minutes.
3. The pumpkin is already cooked. Now put the rice in the pot. You can boil the pumpkin separately, but the taste of porridge will not be so rich.
4. After 7-8 minutes, the rice will begin to steam and increase in size. Pour in the boiled hot milk. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
5. A few minutes before the readiness, add sugar and butter to the porridge. Mix porridge. Keep a little more on the fire and remove. Wrap the pan with a towel and leave for a while so that the porridge is infused. Such porridge will be eaten with pleasure by both adults and children. Enjoy your meal!
