Pineapple puffs
For the recipe you will need:
puff pastry (yeast-free) – 500g
pineapples (rings) – 340g
cinnamon – 1 tsp
powdered sugar – 3-4 tbsp.
flour (for sprinkling)
cherries (frozen) – 1 tbsp.
egg – 1 pc.
To make Pineapple Puffs:
Defrost the dough and roll out in one direction into a layer 3-4 mm thick. Cut the dough into long strips 1-1.5 cm wide.
Dry the pineapple ring a little, roll in powdered sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon. Wrap each pineapple ring with a strip of dough, passing it through the hole in the center. Close the hole with the end of the strip of dough and put a cherry in it. Lay the puffs on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Lubricate the puffs with a beaten egg, send them to a preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 200C until golden brown. Cool the finished puffs and serve.
