Apple Spas Shortbread Pie

I have seen a lot of pies in my life – both apple and all kinds of others. But the recipe for this pie has settled in my cookbook forever – very tasty, unusual and tender. Delicate cottage cheese-apple pie, with amazing taste, will not leave anyone indifferent! And the ease of preparation and the availability of ingredients will allow you to enjoy both the process and the result. The cake is a successful combination of crumbly shortcrust pastry, soft tender vanilla cottage cheese, sweet apples with a hint of cinnamon and a top layer of meringue.

For the test (form diameter 30×18):
1.5 st. flour
2 tbsp. l. granulated sugar
100 g margarine
50 g sour cream
1 yolk
Art. l. soda

For curd layer
250 g of soft, homogeneous cottage cheese (if the cottage cheese is granular, rub through a sieve)
1/3 Art. Sahara
1 yolk
vanillin

For the apple layer
4-5 medium apples
cinnamon

For the meringue (or soufflé)
2 whites from large eggs

We heat the oven to 180-190 °. We combine the yolk, granulated sugar, melted creamy margarine, sour cream, baking powder; mix until smooth.

Sift the flour into the mixture, knead the soft shortbread dough.

We distribute the dough in shape, make low sides, pierce with a fork.

We distribute the curd mass on top of the sand.

We clean the apples from the peel (optional) and from the seeds, cut into thin slices.

Spread the apple slices evenly on top of the curd layer, sprinkle with cinnamon.

Bake for 25-30 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the meringue: beat the whites, sprinkled with lemon juice, gradually add granulated sugar. Для суфле достаточно пары ложек Sahara, а для безе Sahara нужно больше. In any case, the egg whites should be beaten to stiff, firm peaks at a slow mixer speed.

We spread the protein mass on top of the finished pie and bake for another 10 or 15 minutes (reduce the fire to 170 °).

Let the finished pie cool down.
Cut the cooled pie into slices.
