Apricot and Chocolate Cake

For the recipe you will need:
apricot (halves, canned) – 9 halves
butter – 110g
sugar – 90g
salt – 1 pinch
egg – 3 pcs.
flour – 150g
baking powder – on the tip of a knife
chocolate chips – 30g
powdered sugar – 1 tbsp.
To prepare Cupcakes with apricot and chocolate you need:

Grease muffin tins with butter. Drain the apricots in a colander. Save the apricot syrup. Prepare chocolate chips. Can be rubbed with a grater or knife. Chocolate pieces should not be too big.

Beat softened butter with sugar. Add eggs to the bowl, beat a little more, transfer the mass to another bowl for further kneading.

Separately, mix flour and baking powder, sift into the butter-egg mass. Mix everything thoroughly with a spoon. Mix with chocolate chips.

Divide the dough into molds. So that the dough occupies 2/3 of the volume. Place 1 apricot half in each, convex side up and press down. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 180C.

Remove from oven as soon as browned. Let cool slightly in the molds. You can sprinkle the cupcakes with powdered sugar.
