Provencal Casserole with Mushrooms

1 jar of semi-fat cottage cheese (250 g), 150 g of grated cheese, 2 tablespoons of mushroom soup powder, 3 beaten eggs, 30 g of butter, 1 large, finely chopped onion, 500 g of mushrooms, fresh or strained canned, salt and black pepper to taste, oil for greasing the pan

Heat oven to medium temperature. In a large bowl, mix cottage cheese, cheese, beaten eggs, mushroom soup powder until smooth. Heat the oil in a large skillet and fry the onion in it until half cooked. Add mushrooms and fry together with onions for about 8 minutes. Put the fried mushrooms with onions into the curd mass and mix everything together thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste (salt should be put a little, because the soup powder is quite salty). Lightly grease a baking sheet, put the mixture on it and bake for 40 – 50 minutes or until cooked through.
