Spicy pilaf with squid

For the recipe you will need:
rice (long grain) – 1 cup
squid (frozen) – 700g
turmeric – 1/2 tsp
coriander – 1/2 tsp
zira (cumin) – 2 pinches
carrots – 2 pcs.
onion – 2 pcs.
basil – 1/2 tsp
tomato paste – 1 tbsp
salt – to taste
vegetable oil (for frying).
To cook Spicy pilaf with squid you need:

Rinse rice and boil in salted water.

Clean the thawed squid from the film, remove the chord and fins and boil for 3 minutes.

Boiled squid cut into strips, onions – thin rings, carrots – circles.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add onions and carrots and fry quickly. Add squid, spices and tomato paste. Mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Pour the cooked rice into the pan and stir.

Garnish the finished spicy pilaf with squid with chopped herbs. Mix rice with fried onions, carrots and squids. Serve with herbs and tkemali sauce.
