Puff pastry pie with chicken and mushrooms

When I want to make something tasty, and even quickly, ready-made puff pastry often comes to my rescue. It remains only to make the filling, whatever you want! Today I decided to make a pie with one of my favorite toppings – chicken and mushrooms.

Puff pastry pie ingredients:

Yeast or yeast-free puff pastry 500 g
Chicken fillet 350 g
Champignons (or other mushrooms) 200 g
Onion 1 pc.
Vegetable oil
Egg 1 pc. (for brushing the cake)

Recipe:

1. Remove the dough and defrost for 15-20 minutes
2. While the dough is defrosting, we will make the filling for our pie. Wash mushrooms, peel and cut into cubes.
3. Peel and cut the onion into half rings.
4. Fry champignons with onions in a small amount of vegetable oil, salt.
5. Cut the chicken fillet into pieces and fry, add salt and pepper to taste. Combine with mushrooms.
6. Put the defrosted dough on parchment paper and roll out slightly, but not thinly.
7. Put the chicken and mushroom filling in the middle.
8. Make such cuts along the edges
9. Braid the dough like a pigtail, grease it with a beaten egg on top and send it to the oven preheated to 200 ° C for 15-20 minutes.
The pie can be served on its own or with sour cream sauce.
