Homemade Chebureks

Please your loved ones and cook pasties with meat according to this proven recipe! The dough on the water is soft and tender, and the meat filling is very juicy.

To prepare pasties, you need the following ingredients:

Mineral water ½ cup
Egg 1 pc.
Flour 2 stack.
Meat or minced pork 200 g
Onion 1 pc.
Salt
Sugar
Ground black pepper
Recipe for homemade chebureks:

1. Let’s make pastry dough. Pour water into a bowl, mix with a small amount of flour, salt + a little sugar; then add the egg and, gradually mixing in the rest of the flour, knead a stiff dough, cover and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
2. We make minced meat for chebureks: twist the meat into a meat grinder (or take ready-made minced meat), add chopped onion, salt, pepper and pour in about 0.5 cups of water.
3. From the dough we separate the cakes with a diameter of about 3 cm, roll it out very thinly (1-2 mm) into a round layer. Perfectly even circles can be made using a plate.
4. On one half of the rolled circle, put the minced meat + a little water, which was added to the minced meat.
5. Cover with the other half, pinch the edges tightly
6. Fry pasties in a large amount of hot vegetable oil until cooked over medium heat on each side for 2-3 minutes.
* It is also recommended to add a little vodka to the dough for chebureks – about 1 tbsp. for the specified number of ingredients, it gives the dough “bubbly”, characteristic of classic chebureks. But I do it without vodka, the dough still turns out great :)
