How to make barbecue marinade: TOP 5 recipes

The barbecue season starts in spring and continues until late autumn. We will share recipes for original marinades that will help to fully reveal the taste of meat.

Spicy chicken marinade
Mix 8 young chopped onions together with herbs in a blender bowl, add 4 peeled garlic cloves, half a bunch of parsley, 4 tbsp. olive oil, half a hot chili pepper, juice and zest of 2 lemons, ground pepper and salt. Beat in mashed potatoes and marinate chicken in this mixture. This amount of marinade is enough for 1.5 kg of poultry.

Spicy marinade for beef or pork
Chop 4 young onions and half a bunch of cilantro or parsley. Add juice and zest of 2 lemons or limes, 6 tbsp. vegetable oil, 4 tbsp. wine vinegar, 3 tbsp. soy sauce, 1 finely chopped hot pepper, salt. Mix the marinade with 600 g of meat and refrigerate overnight.

Garlic marinade for lamb
Finely chop 1 onion and 2-3 cloves of garlic and mix with 30 ml of lemon juice, salt and ground red pepper. Pour the pieces of meat (500 g) with the resulting mixture, mix and leave in a cool place for 4-6 hours. You can also add sprigs of rosemary or thyme to the marinade.

Beer marinade for pork
Combine in a bowl 100 soy sauce, 75 g liquid honey, 100 ml beer, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 chopped red pepper and 1 sprig of rosemary. Pour 500 g of pork with the resulting marinade and leave in the refrigerator overnight.

Universal Honey Mustard Marinade
Stir in 1/4 cup honey, 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp. orange or lemon juice, a teaspoon of chopped fresh tarragon, 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar, 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp onion powder. Add the washed pieces of meat and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours.
