Why might you need a meat marinade? To make the meat softer and juicier, to give the meat a special aroma and new flavors – for such purposes, meat marinade is used. In addition, marinade for meat will reduce the cooking time: marinated meat will be ready much faster. Such marinades can be made on the basis of vinegar, dairy products, olive oil and even wine. Specially selected combinations of spices and seasonings in the marinade allow you to make the taste of meat unique. At the same time, each type of meat needs its own marinade recipe.

MARINADE FOR CHICKEN

One of the easiest chicken marinades is lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and thyme. In it, the meat should be marinated for at least 3 hours. With the help of such a chicken marinade, the meat after cooking in the oven or on the grill will be soft, but it will not remain without a delicious golden crust.

An unusual taste can be obtained with mustard chicken marinade – it must be mixed with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and chopped herbs to taste. You can also try mayonnaise-based chicken marinade. The composition of this marinade for chicken also includes sweet pepper, lemon, garlic, bay leaf and any greens. After 5 hours of aging meat in such a chicken marinade, you can get an excellent dish. Another gourmet recipe for chicken marinade contains white wine, to which you need to add orange and lemon juice, grated ginger, honey and dill. Such a marinade for chicken allows you to start cooking in a couple of hours – this time will be enough to prepare the meat.

MARINADE FOR PORK

There are special marinade recipes for pork – this meat requires different conditions before cooking. For example, meat becomes proven delicious if you use soy marinade for pork. Marinade for pork is just a mixture of soy sauce, chopped garlic and starch, and after half an hour the meat can be fried in a pan. A simple marinade for pork is made from lemon juice – it is diluted with water and meat is added, on which a layer of onion cut into rings is then placed.

MARINADE FOR SHASHLIK

Country rest is unthinkable without such a tradition as barbecue cooking, so in the summer barbecue marinade can be especially useful. For the simplest barbecue marinade recipe, you only need mayonnaise and onions – the meat will be soaked enough in an hour. Pomegranate juice barbecue marinade is not often used, but the taste is very pleasant. A more common marinade for egg skewers is considered – this ingredient does not allow moisture to evaporate during frying, so the meat remains juicy.

Usually the meat is left to marinate for a long time, the exact number of hours for each recipe is different. However, in the summer, you should pay special attention to the fact that due to the high temperature, the meat can deteriorate, so it is better to keep the meat in the marinade in the refrigerator.
