Homemade Halva

INGREDIENTS:
● 2 cups of shelled seeds
● 1.5 cups flour
● 1 glass of sugar
● 0.5 glass of water
● 150 ml sunflower oil

COOKING:
1. Fry the seeds, scroll in a meat grinder. Fry the flour in a dry frying pan until a soft golden color. Mix both masses until a homogeneous consistency.
2. Cook syrup from sugar and water for 10 minutes from the moment of boiling – it should not be completely liquid, but also thick.
3. Now we mix the mass with seeds, sunflower oil and syrup with a mixer – it’s faster. You can find recipes where the oil is poured into the finished syrup. There is a real chance to spoil everything! Cold butter syrup immediately curdles and you get a big lollipop.
4. When the mass has become homogeneous, put it in a form covered with cellophane, tamp it well and level it. We put a flat lid on top – I have two identical shapes, I put one on top of the other. And we put the load.
