Meditation with a partner. Bhagwan Shri Rajneesh (Osho)

other world. Better be in the middle. Don't drop one extreme to move to the other; just be in the middle, because in the middle there is neither. Exactly in the middle you are free. Right in the middle there is no duality. You have to come to oneness, and duality becomes just your extension – just two wings.” (Osho, Tantra).

Energy interaction

This meditation can be done to better tune in to each other, as well as to raise energy from the lower centers with the help of a partner.
Sit with your back in full contact with your partner's back. You can sit in any position with your legs crossed. The eyes are closed. To make it comfortable (and stress-free) to keep your back straight, you can use a stand or pillow. The head does not have to be in contact with the partner's head. The position should be comfortable, with maximum contact. You can sit face to face, touching your knees or hands.
Pay attention to your breathing. Feel the movement of your belly and ribs, feel your partner's breathing, tune in to him, imagine that you have one body and one breath, feel some kind of community at the energy level. Feel the space around you.
Imagine your joint aura, imagine that it expands and contracts, as if pulsating with your breath. You can also imagine a motionless aura of light yellow or greenish color if you want a closer heart contact.
Open up to the divine cosmic flow, let it into you, bathe in it, absorb it with your whole being together with your partner, follow him, not being afraid to deviate from the meditation sequence planned in advance.
One of the partners can be the leader and in a quiet voice give the installation for the next step.
Open the gates of your fantasy, catch the inner movements and sensations that appear, follow them, all the time, remembering your divine nature.
One can imagine a cleansing light flow of energy passing through the spine (posterior median meridian). Imagine how this light stream gradually displaces everything dark and negative from your spine and that of your partner and fills them with light, healthy energy. Exchange the flow of energy in a general circle with a partner, passing it through the chakras. To do this, focus on Muladhara and Anahata at the same time.
Imagine that a stream, red like a fire flame, rises from Muladhara along your back to Anahata on inhalation, and on exhalation, a greenish stream from the center of the chest passes into the heart center of the partner. Your partner, taking a greenish stream in the Anahata region while inhaling, directs it with an exhalation (already red) through his Muladhara into your Muladhara. Now you are already accepting this flow and while inhaling direct it along the back to Anahata and everything repeats again. Do this several times so that you can feel a steady movement of energy, which can be expressed in a state of joy and bliss. You can change the direction of energy movement depending on your own feelings and feelings of the state of your partner.
Sitting with your back to each other, you can perform a special exercise to activate the energy in the lower energy centers and lift it up. To do this, feel the contact in the coccyx area and breathe through it into your partner, imagining how the orange-red warm flow passes into each other and that you are in energy unity with him. Then, while inhaling, raise this energy to Anahata in the center of the chest at the level of the heart and "breathe" your heart center and the heart center of your partner with green. Even if you do not have an internal perception of color, you will feel that the excitement in the lower centers has disappeared, and the heart is filled with joy and is ready to open towards each other.
You can continue to breathe through the heart center with your partner, as before, feeling one with each other. If there is sufficient practice in concentration and observation, then on inhalation one can observe energy along the “common” spine from Muladhara to Anahata and on exhalation send it along the front surface of the body to the stomach. The movement of energy will follow an ellipse, returning to its source (the location of Kundalini) and filling the whole body with vitality, trembling joy and delight. At the same time, the energy itself, passing through the heart center, will be ennobled and spiritualize.
You can work according to a pre-planned program, but it is better to follow the energy or sensations that appear in the process of meditation.
Before exiting meditation, open your eyes, look at each other. Pay attention to how much softer and more tender the look has become, how much easier and easier it has become to look into each other's eyes. Take your time, look longer, without blinking, eye to eye.
If there is a desire, stretch your hands towards each other. Gently join your palms, close your eyes again and do another meditation. As you exhale, give energy from your right hand to your partner, and as you inhale, take it through your left hand.
Having finished the exercise, you can just sit for a while with your eyes closed, without interrupting the contact with your hands.
By practicing these techniques, it will be easier to know the secret of the circle and gently approach the practice of Tantra, opening your mind and body to divine energy.

camel pose

Here the work is going on not only with the physical and energy body, but at the same time with the cosmic male and female energy.

Kneel facing each other, gently hold hands and press your hips and lower abdomen against each other (see fig.). Feel each other's energy. Feel that now not only your energy has united, but your bodies have merged into one whole. Breathe out a few times in Muladhara to each other. Forget about the physical body for a while. Feel that these two universal energies YIN and YANG harmoniously complement each other. Imagine that now you are a flower that is about to open under the gentle rays of the morning Sun.
Imagine that some force pushes the petals of a flower from Muladhara up and back a little. Feel the energy flowing through your body and rising upwards. Breathe in together, taking in the freshness of the energy flow from above. Then, as you exhale, feel that energy inside the flower—your energy body.
On a natural inhale, send the energy from your belly towards each other and up your chest one more time. Let this energy open your shoulders and chest and take them back a little. Hold each other's hands so that your hips and lower abdomen are constantly in contact and continue to lift your chest up and lower your shoulders back.
Start bending from the middle of the back and higher, open your chest as much as possible, do not try to immediately lower your head back, keep your hips vertical, helping yourself and your partner with your hands. Bend back more and open your chest up as much as possible. Then breathe in, absorbing cosmic energy through the whole body. Track how the chest itself rises up, and the shoulders themselves go further back. You don't even make an effort to bend as far back as possible. This happens by itself from within, and you are, as it were, a witness to this process. Notice how much more plastic your body becomes when you do not force it, but allow it to open up and follow the energy. As the backbend increases, try not to change the place where the hands are gripped and do not lose contact with each other, not only in the pelvic region, but also in the lower abdomen. When you feel it's time to come out of the pose, make a small movement towards each other and with a breath, allow your body to rise towards your partner.
All backward bending poses activate energy in the spine and in the front of the body. They literally pump Manipura with energy. At их выполнении всегда соблюдается один и тот же принцип. Before bending back, you need to send energy from the bottom of the abdomen to the chest. Raise and open the chest, and only then begin to bend back from the upper thoracic vertebrae. In this case, there will be a uniform load on the entire spine and the pressure on the lumbar vertebrae will decrease. Performing the "camel pose" together, we increase its positive effect due to the additional activation of the lower energy centers. Helping each other, we prevent tension in the lower back.

Spontaneous internal movements

Sit with your backs to each other with legs crossed so that the buttocks are in contact. For convenience, you can sit on the roller when the pelvis is slightly raised, it is easier to maintain contact across the entire back and keep the spine straight, put the palms of your hands on your knees or put them together. Keeping the spine straight and the back in maximum contact, relax your whole body and mentally help your partner to do this (see Fig. a). Along with the relaxation of your muscles, imagine his body free, light and relaxed. Imagine that your energy field has become one with the field of your partner. Take your head back a little, turn your inner look up and open yourself and your aura together with your partner to the Higher Cosmic Power.
Then mentally enter each other. Breathe into the Muladhara
