Self-realization can only happen with the development of intuition. As you practice Kriya, you will feel the Divine presence in your spine. Proper practice of kriya. Remember that there are 2 signs of the correct practice of Kriya.
1. 2. On exhalation with the breath flowing down, the life current should be felt as a very light, subtle, soothing sensation with an "and" sound produced by a highly expanded throat.
When and how to practice. Practice this Kriya technique 14 times in a row every morning before breakfast and before lunch or 3 hours after lunch or in the evening before going to bed. Permission to extend the practice of the Kriya technique must be obtained from the Master-Guru or from the leader of the Self-Realization Fellowship and this extension of the Kriya practice can only be done after a few months of correct practice, according to your state of health, mind and degree of realization. Never practice this technique with a full stomach, but always at the times indicated above.

First of all, take into account the preparatory instructions, then begin the real Kriya by visualizing the spinal column as a hollow tube running from the coccyx to the point between the eyebrows. When you are convinced that you are doing this technique correctly, then practice it 14 times in a row, letting the flow circulate continuously, rhythmically and evenly around the spine. Imagine a cool current going up the spine and a warm current going down the spine. Practice it 14 once in the morning and 14 times in the evening. Do not increase this number without the express permission of the Guru-Teacher. Practice this technique always on an empty stomach, before breakfast or before dinner, or at least 3 hours after dinner, before going to bed. Then rest for a few minutes in the same state as when you finished practicing.

Cosmic Energy Control
