Auto-training is the repetition of words that are positive for the human psyche, which cause reflex reactions of the body and help to improve the human condition (both moral and physical). But skeptics may object that only medicines can help a person from diseases. In contradiction to this thesis, one can cite a lot of examples of how people with cancer improved their condition not only thanks to chemotherapy and potent drugs, but also thanks, first of all, to self-hypnosis and a positive attitude.
The power of the word lies in the fact that it is able to influence the human psyche and, thus, the whole organism as a whole. However, auto-training turns the word into a powerful weapon that can change a person’s condition for the better.
In order for the word to hit the target and give the correct result, before autogenic training, it is worth freeing yourself from external and internal stimuli. A person who daily practices auto-training eventually gets rid of unnecessary influences faster and more quickly plunges into the process of psychological training. The human brain should be focused only on those words that are either relaxing (the first important stage of auto-training), or installation (the second stage).

Listen to your body before you start mental training. You must be a little tired to enter the relaxation stage well. In no case should you be annoyed, you should try to immediately calm yourself down, slight excitement during auto-training is only welcome. Relax the muscles of the body as much as possible, they should not interfere with increased brain activity. Don’t let ambient sounds interfere with your session. You can even use earplugs for this.

For the first stage, the most important is the relaxation of the muscles of the body during auto-training. Meditation can help with this. A person needs to achieve maximum relaxation. To do this, try to stretch your arm or leg in front of you and hold until they tremble from increased tension. Then they should be sharply lowered, creating the effect of a whip. The state that came after this in the muscles is the state that is so important for the first stage of auto-training. Next, a person will need to independently learn to relax all the muscles of the body in this way.
Next, for the first stage, you need to lie on your back and bend your knees a little, however, do not forget that the relaxation of the body should not be disturbed. To do this, you can put a special pillow or roller under your knees. The eyes should be closed.

The words for the second part of auto-training are more individual, since they must contain the settings necessary for a particular person. Phrases need to be said to yourself, so in the first two sessions, try to learn them like a mantra so as not to use the powers of the brain to remember the text. There are many types of words for auto-training. These are repetitive phrases needed to calm and relieve brain tension.
After the words have been spoken a certain number of times, so that you feel satisfied and rested, you need to abruptly stand up and take a deep breath.

Autotraining for character change

Choose for yourself a certain verbal formula, depending on what character trait you would like to change. If, for example, you noticed intemperance in your statements, then the setting should be something like this:

“I am calm. I can control your words. I only say what I think ahead. I am calm. My words have only a positive impact on others. It’s good to hear from me.”

Do not forget also that in the formulas of installations there should not be negative particles, only positive phrases. Avoid the “not” particle.
In addition to the above variety of auto-training, there are also installations for rejuvenation, cure for diseases. However, do not forget that auto-training, although it is a good way to influence your psyche, you should not refuse traditional medicine either. In any case, auto-training is self-development.

Once, the German psychotherapist Lindemann, using autogenic training, swam across the Atlantic Ocean in a small inflatable boat, although it is extremely difficult for an ordinary person to do this. The doctor argued that auto-training should be carried out not only during sessions, but also during all cyclic actions (running, eating, movement, etc.). To achieve a good result during the morning awakening, it is also worth repeating the formulas you have created. Only in this case, the success of auto-training will be guaranteed!
