Yoga Morning workout

How to make the morning awakening pleasant and beneficial to our figure and posture? Do a morning strengthening yoga complex in bed. It will take you only five minutes, and it will give you vivacity and good mood for the whole day!
However, you need to warn that although it will take you only five minutes, you will get the load at the same time as during a whole aerobics class. The body will feel the results of such exercises in a couple of days, all its systems will begin to work more actively and more smoothly. The blues, constant fatigue and laziness will pass, increased efficiency will appear.
Morning set of yoga exercises
So, you woke up and stretched to your heart’s content. After that, lying on your back, press the back of your head on the pillow with all your strength and press on it for five seconds. You can rest for five seconds, and again press the pillow for five seconds. Press this six times – and it will take you a minute. Place a pillow on your chest and hug it tightly for five seconds. Rest for five seconds – and again press the pillow to your chest for five seconds. Performed six times, this exercise will take you a second minute.
Place a pillow between your legs and squeeze it firmly with your knees for 5 seconds. Rest – and six such repetitions will take you a third minute.
Spend the fourth minute lifting your legs at a 45-degree angle for five seconds, and resting for five seconds between leg raises.
And the fifth minute will take you to set the calves. With the toes of one foot, pull the toes of the other foot towards you for five seconds. Then switch legs for five seconds. And so six times.
Thus, five minutes pass, the complex is over, you can get up. Powerful warming of the body is guaranteed to you, and perfect posture too. During this complex, your body itself acts as a kind of simulator. In this case, a large group of muscles is being worked out. And, most importantly, that the heart did not experience a strong load – after all, you did the complex lying down.
After warming up the body, we proceed to water procedures. We take a shower and thoroughly rub the body with a wet towel.
Let’s turn to hatha yoga. Yogis believe that water for washing the body should not be hot or cold, but pleasant. By the way, do not be mistaken that yogis, in an effort to cleanse the body, constantly experience some kind of stressful sensations. This is not true. The most important commandment of a true yogi is to be happy, and if something gives him unpleasant sensations, then it no longer fits into the code of hatha yoga.
So the water should be pleasant. Do you feel how subtle the approach to the nature of personality is here? Like cold showers – turn on cold water. Like hot – you can include at least boiling water. But it is better, of course, just water at room temperature, so as not to take away excess energy from the body for thermal insulation of internal organs. With water you will wash off all the dirt, and with a towel you will massage the skin, improving its blood circulation. During the shower, the pores of the skin open, toxins are released.
But there is a subtlety here. If you decide to take a shower, massage the skin with your hands, rubbing it intensively in jets of water. And you don’t need to dry yourself with a towel after a shower, it’s better to dry. This will exclusively improve your nervous system, raise your tone, and the skin will be saturated with the moisture it needs so much. Moreover, the best procedure for hardening cannot be imagined.
The same is true after wiping with a wet towel: a wet body does not need to be wiped with a dry towel. Dry off after getting dressed. If it is cold outside and you are afraid of catching a cold, then the first experience will surprise you – you will be so hot after this procedure. You are no longer afraid of any acute respiratory infections or flu. Your body learns to regulate the temperature itself, that is, you restore the normal functioning of the quality inherent in us since infancy – thermoregulation.
It is the correct operation of this mechanism that we remove from our children, first wrapping them both in winter and summer in a large number of diapers, then dressing them in a myriad of clothes. And, as a result, at an older age we are very cold, even at normal temperatures.
Performing the morning yoga complex, doing hardening and self-massage, we can restore the self-regulating forces of our body. Thus, we get rid of diseases, get a huge charge of vivacity for the whole day and a strong nervous system, which is not afraid of any stress.
