Running and endurance!

Many endurance runners train on their own, and sometimes looking at them, you are amazed and ask yourself, how is this even possible? Everything is very simple – the main thing is technique.

From an early age, a child first learns to walk and then run, no one teaches him, everything goes through trial and error. He watches other children, adults, even animals very carefully and gradually understands that it is time to get up and start moving. Many probably did not notice how easily the child moves. Sometimes one gets the impression that his body is completely relaxed, and his legs themselves carry him somewhere far away. Moreover, the frequency of his running step is very large, about 250 steps per minute. As a rule, when a person grows up and begins to be interested in sports, such as running, coaches teach him the correct technique. The technique includes a lot of micro moments: torso tilt, arm movement, support period, back push, etc. running ceases to be easy and natural and acquires its technical beauty.

The running technique consists of numerous elements, the most interesting thing is that for absolutely every athlete at different speeds, these elements look different. The types of running techniques are divided into: a) sprint running technique (200, 400, 600, 800, 1000 m), b) medium-distance running technique (1500, 2000, 3000 m), c) long-distance running technique (5, 10, 20 km and more), d) running technique for marathon and longer distances. It is very rare to meet a person who is fluent in all running techniques, often it is just a “unique”. It is best to choose the style that is closest to you, which you like best, and improve it.

Many athletes take it to be that if you want to learn how to run properly or develop your endurance, you need to practice. It is important to note that running should also contain a thought process, you should analyze your well-being, body position, arm span, all these little things determine your endurance. If you understand how your body responds best to running, you will immediately see an improvement in well-being, in training results, in sleep, and in everything else.

Therefore, do not be lazy to run, and if you are already doing it, do it wisely. Running is the key to success in everything.
