What is crossfit?

In fact, this is a program that consists of a series of high-intensity exercises aimed at developing all muscle groups. The program might look something like this:

15 squats + 10 pull-ups + 15 jumps. Such circles need to be done 4-5 times in a limited specific time. Rest between each round is 1 minute.

Exercises can be chosen at your discretion, the main thing is that they be as complex as possible. An important condition in this type of training is to perform exercises in a circle. There should be several such circles in one lesson. Rest between circles is minimal (no more than a minute).

At first glance, crossfit may not seem difficult at all, but at the end of such a workout, the performer feels like a squeezed lemon.

CrossFit is a combination of strength and cardio. Not only the muscles of the body are trained, but also the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. Exercises are performed both with the weight of your own body, and with additional weights. Due to the intensity, CrossFit can completely replace both the “kachaka” and such a heavy cardio load as, for example, running.

CrossFit is all about high intensity. The whole complex of exercises is performed for a while and practically without a break for rest.
Breaks between exercises should be minimal. At first, it’s not so easy. But this is where the whole thing is muddied – sweating, feeling how all the muscles are burning, and the heart is beating like a steam boiler to continue training and bring it to the end. In this state, there is a great desire to quit everything and interrupt the training. But you can’t leave a place of weakness! By busting yourself several times, you will be able to get stronger and withstand intense loads.

Every workout should be exhausting, you must give all the best and be very tired. If this does not happen, then this is not CrossFit.
Add variety to your workouts, the body should not get used to the same exercises. Different exercises target different muscle groups. Try to distinguish the real workout from the previous one. During one workout, all muscle groups should participate. Please take this into account when designing your program. CrossFit in its results will not keep you waiting. Intensive and varied workouts will help you get rid of hated kilograms, transform your body, feel more cheerful and enduring. With a good effort, you can burn up to 1000 kcal in one workout. And if you add proper nutrition to this – limit yourself to sweet, fatty and starchy foods – then the level of your subcutaneous fat will decrease before your eyes, and your muscles will become embossed and strong in a short time. Here it is the guarantee of a beautiful figure! This is the recipe for vivacity and good mood!
An indisputable plus is that for training crossfit, simulators and stuffy gyms are not at all necessary. You can train at home or, for example, at the stadium. But it is better to start crossfit under the guidance of a qualified trainer.
