How Much Protein Should Girls Eat

Very often, girls and women, having received their nutrition plan, ask the question – is it not harmful to consume so much protein? Let’s see why the female body needs protein and whether it is needed at all, and how much it needs to be consumed. All of us are amino acid structures, we are made up of amino acids (these are the components of a protein). Skin, hair, nails, internal organs, mucous membranes, muscles and bones are amino acid structures. This means that in order to maintain their functionality and vital activity, these structures need building material – amino acids – and hence protein. Modern studies indicate the figure of 1.8 g / kg of human weight – the norm for a person who does not go in for sports, leading an “office” and sedentary lifestyle. These figures have changed over time, once the figure was 1 g / kg, then 0.8, 1.5 And so on – you can find various studies, I am citing new foreign data.
And this amount of protein is needed so that all organs are in a normal state, cells are renewed, the body works systematically and functionally.
Accordingly, even with minimal physical activity, the amount of protein consumed should increase.
What happens when a girl does not consume enough protein? The body tends to adapt. Adapt to all environmental conditions: lack of food, water, oxygen, lack of activity, and so on. Adaptation is a process that is implemented in everything. Adaptation to a lack of protein is implemented as follows: in order to keep all the internal organs healthy, line the mucous membranes, and improve the functioning of the hormonal system, the body “throws back” the excess: hair and nails, as a rule, become brittle and lifeless (I can pick up a few more epithets). Without hair and nails, the girl’s body can survive, but without a stomach – no. Therefore, all forces are thrown to salvation! Your body is trying to survive! Unhealthy skin, hair and nails – and then – hormonal failure – these are, first of all, signs of malnutrition! And in particular, insufficient consumption of protein products.
But with sweet foods you need to be careful. Is it true that pimples appear from sweets and even facial hair grows?

TRUTH.

Let’s go in order:

1. When we eat sweets, the amount of glucose in the blood rises.

2. In response to this, the body intensively produces insulin.

3. When the level of insulin in the body is PERMANENTLY elevated, it causes an increased production of androgens – in other words, male sex hormones

4. Androgens, firstly, increase the activity of the sebaceous glands, which creates conditions for the appearance of acne. Throughout a woman’s life, androgen activity increases twice: during puberty and during menopause. It is at this time that acne most often appears in women. In men, as a rule, acne appears only in adolescence. Recently, however, acne is increasingly appearing in women and men of any age. The reason is malnutrition and the resulting hormonal imbalance

Such an imbalance in the body of a woman, which causes an increased production of androgens, male sex hormones, and accordingly disrupts the synthesis of estrogen, the female sex hormone, causes facial hair growth and increased body hair growth.
However, acne and facial hair are sometimes not the most serious problem.

The next question is, is it bad to eat so much protein? Your protein serving should be 30-40 grams of protein per meal (and we have 5-6 of them). Drink plenty of water. Approximately 150 g of protein – a lot? Try it and write a review. How will your body react to this in a week? Try it, and after six months, tell me how your hair looks. Try it and you will save on lamination, strengthening nails and hair, expensive creams and face masks. Body care starts from the inside. There is nothing left but to quote: “We are what we eat.”
