Baked oatmeal for breakfast

Ingredients:

Carrot 1 pc.
Oat flakes 4 tbsp. a spoon
Raisins 1 handful
Salt to taste
Honey to taste
Cinnamon on the tip of a knife
Cardamom on the tip of a knife
Kefir 3/4 cup
Coconut shavings 20 g

Oatmeal is perfect for breakfast! Oatmeal can be boiled if it is whole grains, poured with hot milk and infused if it is instant cereal. I often bake crackers and cookies from oatmeal, but recently I mastered a new recipe for myself – baked oatmeal.

The recipe is simple, you can vary and supplement it according to your taste preferences. For example, I like to add walnuts, raisins and coconut flakes to such breakfast cereal, I also add a bit of cardamom and cinnamon.

Candied fruits of exotic fruits are ideal for baked oatmeal: mango, pineapple, etc. Oatmeal is baked with kefir or yogurt, fermented baked milk, that is, with any fermented milk product. Good luck with your cooking!

Cooking steps:
1) First of all, I rub one medium-sized carrot (washed and peeled from the top skin) on a fine grater. I pour the grated carrots into a heat-resistant mold.
2) I add instant oatmeal, plus a pinch of salt, cardamom on the tip of a knife and a pinch of cinnamon (can be replaced with vanilla).
3) Pour in coconut flakes and pre-washed raisins. Additionally, it is not necessary to steam it in boiling water. I mix all dry ingredients.
4) I pour in homemade fatty kefir and mix. I repeat: any fermented milk products are suitable for making baked oatmeal, so you can replace kefir with yogurt, etc.
5) I send the heat-resistant form to the oven for half an hour. I do not cover the mold with a lid. Baking temperature 170°C. I take out the baked oatmeal from the oven, let the porridge cool a little and transfer it to a shallow plate. I pour the porridge with honey and sprinkle with peeled walnuts.
