Banana oatmeal with raisins

Ingredients:

Oat flakes 1 cup
Milk 2 cup
Sugar 1 tbsp. a spoon
Banana 1 pc.
Raisins 30 g

Without oatmeal, I can’t imagine the beginning of the day. I love oatmeal in any form, I cook homemade cookies, crunches from it, I bake oatmeal-semolina pancakes, pies and muffins.

I decided to modify the usual oatmeal, which I usually eat in the morning, by adding finely chopped banana and steamed raisins to it. It turned out delicious! The husband does not particularly favor oatmeal, but he was very pleased with the porridge cooked with such additions.

According to this recipe, you can cook porridge in milk or in milk with water (dilute the total volume of milk with water in a ratio of one to one). For sweetness, I add sugar, but you can replace it with honey or add nothing at all, but increase the amount of bananas added.

Cooking steps:
1) Pour instant dry oatmeal into the pan.
2) Fill with cold milk. Or milk diluted with water.
3) Add a pinch of salt and granulated sugar. Put the pot on the fire and bring to a boil. Cook the porridge after boiling over very low heat for about 5-7 minutes.
4) As soon as the oatmeal is cooked and thickened, turn off the fire under the pan. We send steamed raisins to the porridge.
5) We clean the banana and finely chop its pulp, send it to the pan. We mix. That is, after adding raisins and bananas, porridge is not boiled, but only infused for a couple of minutes.
6) Delicious, thick, fragrant banana oatmeal with raisins is laid out on plates and served. Help yourself! This is a healthy and satisfying dish.
