It is difficult to find a person who would not love this Georgian sweet, and what is most remarkable about it is that it is not only insanely delicious, but also very healthy. But the recipe for making gozinaki from oatmeal is simple to disgrace, so lately I practically don’t buy them in the store, but I do it myself. This is very convenient, because you can add your favorite nuts, cereals or dried fruits to kozinaki, and then calmly take such a treat, say, to work or give your child to school. Be sure to try making oatmeal kozinaki at home and you will see how easy and fast it is.

Ingredients:
Oatmeal – 2.5 cups
Walnuts – 0.75 cups
Coconut shavings – 0.25 cups
Raisins – 0.5 cups
Brown sugar – 1 cup
Pumpkin seeds – 0.75 cups
Butter – 6 tbsp. spoons
Honey – 6 Art. spoons
Molasses – 2 Art. spoons

How to make Oatmeal Kozinaki
1 First, grind the walnuts with a knife or a blender, but not to the state of fine crumbs, but larger.
2 Now put the frying pan on the fire and spread the chopped nuts, coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds and oatmeal on it. Fry everything without oil, stirring constantly, until a characteristic aroma appears.
3 Pour the fried mixture into a deep bowl.
4 Add raisins to the bowl and mix well.
5 Put the butter, molasses, honey, brown sugar and cinnamon into a saucepan.
6 Stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
7 Then pour it into a bowl with cereal, nuts and other ingredients.
8 Mix everything thoroughly so that the mass becomes homogeneous.
9 Next, we cover the mold with cling film and spread the resulting mixture on it, evenly distributing the mass along the bottom of the mold.
10 We put the form in the refrigerator for half an hour.
11 Ready gozinaki cut into bars, squares or whatever you like.
12 We wrap each piece in cling film, so it is very convenient to take it with you to work or for a walk. Enjoy your meal!
