Delicious kefir biscuits
Dispose of old kefir –
cooking delicious cookies on kefir
stuffed with your favorite jam
Ingredients:
kefir 200 g
egg 1 pc.
flour 480 g
butter 100 g
sugar 1/3 tbsp.
soda 2/3 tsp
vanillin to taste
jam to taste 4-5 tbsp
Cooking:
Kefir, butter and
the egg must be pre-chilled.
Sift flour, add soda, granulated sugar and
butter, chopped with a knife
It turns out crumb.
Pour in cold kefir.
Add egg yolk.
Knead the plastic uncooked dough.
It will slightly stick to your hands.
Divide the dough in half and put it in the freezer for an hour
(In parts the dough will cool faster).
Roll out one piece and
spread in a layer on an oiled
baking paper.
Smear any jam on the surface of the dough layer,
jam or condensed milk
(This time I had plum jam).
By the way, if the jam is watery,
then add 1 teaspoon of starch to it.
We take out the second part of the dough from the freezer,
roll out and cover on top.
Lubricate the surface with egg white or milk.
We bake cookies in the oven for 25-30 minutes at a temperature of 180 C
Cut into squares
sprinkle with powdered sugar to taste
or cocoa if you have condensed milk cookies.
