Crispy Gratin Baked Potato

Crispy Gratin. I bring to your attention a wonderful crispy potato gratin. What could be easier – cut potatoes, onions, and it turns out incredibly tasty, Provence herbs do their job. My husband said that it tastes even better than fried. That’s the only way I’m going to cook now. And it looks decent – it will also look good on the festive table. Thanks for the recipe Anya anna_mavritta with LJ.

Crispy Gratin Baked Potatoes Ingredients:
Potatoes – 6 pcs
Onion (I have red) – 2 pcs
Seasoning (Provencal herbs)
Butter (melted) – 3 tbsp. l.
Salt
Black pepper (ground)
Preparation: Peel the potatoes and cut into thin circles. It is advisable to take potatoes of the same size, but I have different ones.

Peel two onions and cut into rings. I took red, in the original recipe there was an ordinary onion.
Grease an ovenproof dish with oil. Put in potatoes and onions. Salt, pepper, sprinkle with Provence herbs. Pour in melted butter.
bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 1.5 hours, if the top starts to burn, then cover the form with foil. Baking times may vary depending on your oven.
Enjoy your meal!
