Rustic Baked Potato (Wedges)

Rustic baked potatoes are so tasty, soft, fragrant that they will conquer you from the first bite! Where are the McDonald’s french fries! Oven-roasted herb potatoes are even better than homemade fried potatoes. Why? Because baked potatoes are less fatty; because less oil is needed than for deep-frying; and most importantly, I liked it – because for this recipe, the potatoes do not need to be peeled!

Rustic potato slices are good for a delicious family dinner, and for a festive banquet!

Ingredients:

8-10 medium-sized potatoes, not spoiled, whole, the most beautiful!
Seasonings and spices (adjust the amount to your taste):
Sunflower oil – about 2 tablespoons;
Garlic – 4 cloves;
Salt – about 1 teaspoon;
Dried oregano – 1 tablespoon;
Ground black pepper – a pinch;
Dried paprika – 3 tablespoons.
Pay attention, paprika is not the same as red pepper! Red ground pepper is a fiery chili pepper, and dried red paprika is a sweet bell pepper. The main thing is not to confuse. :)
How to cook potatoes in a rustic way:

Wash the potatoes thoroughly with a dish sponge (the reverse side, the one that is harder) – so that the skin becomes completely clean.

We cut the potatoes into slices.

It is better to rinse the potato wedges with cold water, and then dry them – then you will not need to put it on a baking sheet one piece at a time, but plump it all at once, level it – and the slices will not stick together!

Add vegetable oil and seasonings to a bowl with potatoes: salt, pepper, add garlic grated on a fine grater and fragrant dried herbs, mix. The aroma spreads through the kitchen so that you want to try it right away, without waiting until the potatoes are baked!

We cover the baking sheet with confectionery parchment and lay out the potato wedges in rows.

We put the potatoes in the oven for half an hour at 180C, and then we add fire to 200-220C. The potatoes are ready when they are soft when tested with a knife.
