Recipe for Pitted Cherry Jam

Preparation description:

Water – 1.5 cups
Cherry – 1 Kilogram
Sugar – 1.2 Kilograms

How to cook Pitted Cherry Jam Recipe
1 Wash the cherries, remove the stalks and make punctures with a toothpick in several places on each berry.
2 Boil water in a saucepan, add cherries and drain after 1.5 minutes.
3 Boil the syrup, for this, take 1.5 cups of water and 600 g of sugar. Boil until the sugar is completely dissolved.
4 Pour this syrup over the cherry and let it stand for 4 hours. Then put the saucepan with the cherries over medium heat, bring to a boil, add the remaining sugar and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring and removing the foam.
5 Then remove from heat, cover the pan and leave for 6 hours. Then return to medium heat again and after boiling, cook for 10 minutes.
6 After that, spread the berries from the jam in clean jars, and let the syrup cook for another 15 minutes, then pour the berries with syrup and close the jars.
