Okroshka

Okroshka can be prepared in a variety of ways: on kvass and kefir, they are also prepared on chicken broth. You can add radish, and instead of sausage, use chicken fillet or boiled meat. I offer one of my favorite and delicious options for cooking okroshka with sausage on water and sour cream!

Ingredients for making okroshka:

Boiled sausage 300 g
Potatoes 3 pcs.
Eggs 4 pcs.
Cucumber 3 pcs.
Sour cream 200 g
Water (mineral or boiled) 2 l
Salt
Lemon acid
Greens (onion feathers, dill, parsley)
Okroshka recipe:

1. First of all, boil water so that by the time the okroshka is cooked, the water has time to cool. Or you can use mineral water.

2. Rinse the potatoes and boil until cooked “in their uniforms”, cool.

3. Put the eggs in cold water and boil for 10 minutes in salted water, cool.

4. Cut sausage and cucumbers into small cubes. If the boiled sausage is partially replaced with smoked sausage, the okroshka will be even tastier.
5. Peel eggs and potatoes and also cut into small cubes.
6. Rinse and finely chop the greens.
7. Place all ingredients in a saucepan and mix.

8. Season with sour cream and mix. Then pour water, salt and add citric acid to taste.

Okroshka is ready! Enjoy your meal!
