Pilaf with chicken hearts

Cooking time: 180 min.
Servings: 10

INGREDIENTS

500 g rice
500 g chicken hearts
500 g carrots
2-3 bulbs
2-3 heads of garlic
2-3 dry whole chili peppers
1 tsp
0.5 tsp ground coriander
100 ml vegetable oil

HOW TO COOK

Rinse rice until clean water and soak in plenty of clean water.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan until smoky.

Cut the onion and carrot into thin strips.

Fry the onion until red on high heat.

Add hearts and fry until golden brown without reducing the heat.

Put the carrots in an even layer and mix gently after 2-3 minutes.

Reduce the heat to just above medium and sauté for 10-15 minutes until soft, stirring occasionally.

Add zira and coriander, mix.

Pour in boiling water so that the water covers everything by 1 – 1.5 cm.

Add chili peppers and peeled heads of garlic.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 1 hour.

Salt (what we got is called zirvak, it can be prepared for future use and stored in the refrigerator for about a week) and bring to a strong boil again.

Drain water from rice.

Pour the zirvak into the bowl of the multicooker, put the rice in an even layer on top.

The liquid should cover the rice by 1 cm, if there is little liquid, carefully pour in boiling water.

Turn on the “pilaf” program and cook until the signal.

Invert onto a platter before serving.

BON APPETIT!!!!
