Why doesn’t separate food work? 4 reasons

The criteria for a properly constructed separate diet are as follows: the stool should be hard (like sheep’s), odorless, and there should be no need for toilet paper. If at least one of these criteria disappears, then this means that you are eating incorrectly.

Does it happen that the principles of separate nutrition “slip”, do not work. It happens quite often too. There are several reasons for this.

Reason number 1 – poor chewing of food. It would seem that so much has been said and written on this subject that it is already a shame to speak, but no, they still chew badly. They bite off food in large pieces, swallow without chewing, etc. It has long been proven that the digestive juices do not penetrate deeper into the food bolus deeper than 1 mm, at least crack. Do we grind food with our teeth to such a consistency. No, we don’t grind it. We chew it hastily, swallow pieces of 1 cm in size. Here, no separate food will help if a person does not even know how to bite off properly. It is not in vain that yogis say that “solid food should be drunk.”

In 1914, a book by S. Fletcher, an Austrian by birth, was published. In it, he offered his own way of treating all diseases without exception and achieving longevity. The method was extremely simple: it was necessary to bite off the food in very small pieces, chew it for a long time and carefully, then spit it out into a special cup. When a whole cup of spit out food was taken, it was necessary to start eating this spit out food again with the help of a special spoon. This, of course, is an obvious overkill. It is necessary to manage, probably, with less moral losses. But here’s what’s interesting. Those people who began to eat according to the Fletcher system immediately noticed an improvement in their health. They began to eat very small amounts of food. The stool became sparse (but more than 2 times a week), hard-smoking in consistency and odorous. The food was assimilated quite fully, fermentation and putrefaction in the intestines stopped. Improved well-being, increased efficiency. Clubs of Fletcher’s followers were formed in many countries. Dale Carnegie writes that Fletchers in restaurants “annoyed those around them with their behavior.” Well I do not know! If even one person appeared in our restaurant who would first chew for hours, then spit out, and then chew again, he would probably be shot right away. In one thing, at least, Fletcher was right – you need to chew thoroughly and, if possible, for a long time.

French nutritionists have found that food is digested better if you read or watch TV while eating. Why? Yes, simply because a person in this case is not in a hurry and eats more slowly. Not in vain, after all, earlier in the highest circles of society, people dined and dined for hours. Gathering the whole family at one big table. Slow conversations were carried on, and food was eaten just as slowly, in small portions. It must have made some sense.

Reason number 2 why the principles of separate nutrition may not work is eating too much food. Overeating is a common thing in sports. Bodybuilders are especially guilty of moving. They “eat up” the mass, a program is laid in their subconscious: to eat as much as possible. There is, however, a limit to the digestive capacity of the gastrointestinal tract. It is not rubbery and cannot process too much food. This problem, in principle, is solved in 4 ways: 1 way – just eat less. This does not suit everyone, especially in the weaning and volume-forming period, when you need to gain a certain mass. Let number 2 – already more acceptable: use digestive enzymes. There are very good preparations, such as, for example, festal, pancreatin, enzistal and many, many other combined preparations containing a set of digestive enzymes. They allow you to digest 1.5 or even 2 times more food than usual. Along the way, the severity of putrefactive and fermentation processes in the intestine decreases. 3rd way is the use of refined, highly specialized sports nutrition products. In fact, if you consume pure crystalline amino acids instead of protein during the day, then there will simply be nothing to rot and ferment in the intestines. Amino acids are perfectly absorbed and do not leave any traces. Pure types of animal proteins are also digested well. The fewer cell walls, the better. That is why egg protein, made from chicken egg proteins, is valued above all. Carbohydrates can also be used in a refined, pure form, especially sugars. They are perfectly absorbed and do not wander anywhere. Now many sports foods are already included in the diets of ordinary people who do nothing. At least there is such a trend, and it will grow. There is nothing wrong with that. No matter how good natural products are, synthetic ones are much better and cleaner. You can’t get away from this. This is an objective reality. Many diseases can be treated with sports nutrition products alone without any medication. 4th way – the use of powerful anabolics and, in particular, anabolic steroids. Steroids do more than just build muscle mass. They dramatically improve the condition of the gastrointestinal tract and increase its digestive capacity. Food is digested much more fully and in large volumes.

Reason number 3 why the principles of separate nutrition may not work is the use of caffeinated drinks: tea and coffee. Caffeine stimulates the release of protonin into the blood. Serum means intestines. Serotonin is a substance that stimulates intestinal peristalsis. For this, he was called protonin. A sharp release of protonin under the influence of caffeine leads to increased peristalsis and poor digestion of food.

Reason number 4, why a separate diet may not work – the abuse of vegetables and fruits. They are useful, of course, useful, but only in moderation. A large amount of fiber does nothing but bloating and enhancing fermentation processes.
