Vegetables to be eaten boiled

It is not true for all fruits and vegetables that they are most beneficial when eaten raw. Consider the vegetables that you need to eat boiled.

1. Tomatoes
Tomatoes contain an antioxidant – lycopene, which effectively fights diseases such as cancer and heart disease. Fresh tomatoes contain only 4% of this beneficial antioxidant.

3. Spinach

For example: the absorption of calcium increases 3 times after the heat treatment of this vegetable. Spinach can be safely added to soups, vegetable stews and pies. If you use a vegetable in a salad, then pour boiling water over it or hold it for about two minutes in very hot water.

4. Kale (or kale)
This cabbage looks like a curly leaf lettuce. This vegetable is considered a leader in the content of fiber and substances in it, which are so necessary for the body. The composition of this cabbage contains a complete protein, omega-3 fatty acids, which are so necessary for the youth of the body.
The vegetable also contains: ascorbic acid, various anti-carcinogenic and antibacterial substances. Kale, which is subject to heat treatment, reduces the level of cholesterol in the blood, and also improves the functioning of the digestive system itself. Raw kale has these functions to a lesser extent.
Add mono cabbage to soups, side dishes, sauces. For salad, pour over the vegetable with boiling water and add to the salad.

5. Mushrooms
Mushrooms must be cooked so that they are not only healthy, but also safe. Not all types of mushrooms can be consumed raw, as in this form they are poorly absorbed by the body. But, mushrooms that have undergone heat treatment help the body to absorb better and faster, destroy toxins, and release useful substances.

6. Beets
Raw beets contain a large amount of valuable substances and minerals. It also contains calcium and sodium. During heat treatment, all minerals and nutrients are absorbed much better than in raw. In addition, boiled beets are a strong laxative, beets perfectly cleanse the liver, blood, and strengthen the walls of blood vessels.

7. Broccoli
Broccoli – contains just an incredible amount of glucosinolates, which are excellent at fighting cancer cells. The content of this substance is much higher in broccoli, which is subject to heat treatment. Also, the body easily absorbs carotenoids, which are contained in large quantities.
