Plean spicy steamed apple pie

INGREDIENTS

1 cup flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp fresh grated ginger (or 2 teaspoons ground dry)
1 tsp ground cardamom
3–4 tbsp. l. marzipan, prepared or homemade
4 tbsp. l. raisins
1 cup coconut, almond or soy milk
4 tbsp. l. honey

For filling:

2 medium apples
3 art. l. brown sugar
2 tbsp. l. peanut butter
ground cinnamon
vanilla sugar

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1

Prepare the filling: Peel the apples from the core, cut into slices. Melt sugar in hot butter and lightly caramelize apples with vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Cool slightly and spread in an even layer in a greased plastic dish.
Step 2

For the dough, heat the milk with honey. Mix flour with soda, salt and spices, add chopped marzipan and raisins and mix with milk-honey mixture. Pour apples with the resulting dough and cook the pie in a double boiler from 1 hour (if the dough layer is about 3 cm) to 2 hours, depending on the height of the mold: the wider the mold and the thinner the dough layer, the shorter the cooking time.
Step 3

Invert the cake onto a serving platter and serve warm or cold.
