spiritual transformation.

2. Qihai (Sea of Energy) - Lower Dan Tian (Fig. 2).

Location: on the midline of the abdomen, 1.5 cun (approximately 4 cm) below the navel.

Topography: in this area are located the superficial lower epigastric artery, the anterior cutaneous branches of the intercostal nerve.

The point is determined in the supine position.

The Lower Dan Tian is where the Primordial Qi is stored, also called the Cinnabar Field.

Here, the Qi received from various sources is mixed and transformed into life force.

The region of the body where the lower Dan Tian is located contains many large lymph nodes, such as the lumbar lymph node, the common iliac node, and the main drainage cord in the lower abdomen.

Increasing the amount of Qi in this area increases blood flow, the movement of lymph and hormones, and relieves the heart of unnecessary work. The daily accumulation of the heat of Primordial Qi allows you to store and use this energy instead of letting it go.

3. Цюйгу (Согнутая кость) — сексуальный центр (Fig. 3).

Location: in the middle of the top edge pubic symphysis.

The point is determined in the supine position.

Topography: the point is located between the insertion of both pyramidal muscles, where the superficial inferior epigastric artery, external pudendal artery and iliohypogastric nerve are located.

The sex center includes the prostate, penis, and testicles in men, and the ovaries, uterus, cervix, and vagina in women. These organs contribute to the energy of the sex center, which is considered the main supplier and generator of Qi for the Primordial Force.

Sexual energy is the only kind of energy that, if kept, can continually increase. In Qigong, sexual energy is transformed into more subtle spiritual energy.

4. Huiyin (Fusion of Yin) - Gate of life and death (Fig. 4).

Location: between the external genitalia and the anus (between the anus and scrotum in men and the posterior commissure of the labia majora in women.

The point is determined in the supine position with a raised pelvis.

Topography: the point corresponds to the center of the cavernous bodies, in this area the internal pudendal artery and the pudendal nerve are located.

An energy pump is placed in the Hui-yin, which pushes the Earth energy, life force energy and sexual energy up the spine, increasing the flow of Qi in the Microcosmic Orbit.

5. Changqiang (Growth of strength) - Lower Outpost (Wei-lu) (Fig. 5).

Location: midway between the tip of the coccyx and the anus.

The point is determined in the supine position.

Topography: in this area are located the artery of the rectum, extending from the internal pudendal artery, the nerve of the coccyx and the inferior rectus nerve, extending from the pudendal nerve.

The movement of energy up the spinal column begins from the coccyx. There is a very close relationship between the coccyx and the center of Primordial Qi. Slightly drawing in the muscles of the anus and at the same time pulling the back of the anus to the coccyx, you thereby establish contact between the energy of the Earth and the sexual energy. Through the spinal column, this energy enters the higher energy centers.

If the coccygeal energy center is closed for some reason, these energy flows are blocked.

6. Mingmen (Gate of Life) - the center of the Kidneys (Fig. 6).

Location: between the spinous processes of the 2nd and 3rd lumbar vertebrae.

The point is determined in the supine position.

Topography: in this area, the supraspinous ligament is located subcutaneously, and deeper - the interspinous ligament, the posterior branches of the lumbar arteries and the posterior branches of the lumbar plexus are distributed.

The kidneys are located on both sides of the spine approximately at waist level. The left kidney produces cold Yin Qi, the right kidney produces hot Yang Qi. The joint work of the kidneys contributes to the equilibrium state of the energy flows of Yang and Yin within the body. In addition, the kidneys are repositories of the main energy substance of the body and sexual energy. The Kidney Center is called the "Gate of Life" because it is the center of innate Qi.

It used to be thought that innate Qi could not be restored (it began to gradually decrease after puberty), but modern Qigong masters say that with the help of special exercises, you can return the lost energy and strengthen the kidneys.

7. Jizhong (High Node) - the center of the adrenal glands (Fig. 7).

Location: between the spinous processes of the 11th and 12th thoracic vertebrae.

The point is determined in a sitting position with a slightly tilted head.

Topography: the point corresponds to the beginning of the lumbospinal fascia. The supraspinous ligament is located subcutaneously, the interspinous ligament is deeper, where the posterior branches of the intercostal arteries and the posterior branches of the lower thoracic nerves are located.

The adrenal glands are located above the kidneys. The weight of each adrenal gland is from 7 to 20 grams. Longitudinal size 6 cm, transverse 3 cm, thickness 1 cm. These glands produce hormones that cause the heart to contract and, if necessary, cause a general surge of energy and acceleration of heart contractions. The adrenal gland consists of two layers - the outer cortical (cortex) and the inner, cerebral (medulla). The medula produces adrenaline and norepinephrine. These two hormones elicit an immediate response from the sympathetic nervous system in the form of a faster heart rate and more intense breathing. The outer part of the adrenal glands (Cortex) produces various steroid hormones, among which it is worth noting cortisone. These hormones regulate the body's metabolism and also directly affect the balance of sodium and calcium salts, and also regulate blood sugar levels.

The adrenal center helps direct the life force and sexual energy up the spine to the higher energy centers. In addition, concentration on this zone helps to reduce the possible dependence on adrenaline produced by the adrenal glands, the stress hormone.

8. Lingtai (Terrace of the Spirit) - a point opposite the heart (Fig. 8).

Location: between the spinous processes of the 6th and 7th thoracic vertebrae.

The point is determined in a sitting position with a slightly tilted head.

Topography: the point corresponds to the beginning of the large rhomboid and trapezius muscles, where the posterior branches of the intercostal arteries, the posterior nerve of the scapula and the posterior branches of the thoracic nerves are located.

This center is directly connected with the heart and creates a kind of energy shell that protects the centers of the heart and crown. It is also believed that this center can act as an additional pump that directs energy to higher centers.

9. Dazhui (Big vertebra) (Fig. 9).

Location: between the spinous processes of the 7th cervical and 1st thoracic vertebrae.

The point is determined in a sitting position with a slightly tilted head.

Topography: the point corresponds to the supraspinous and interspinous ligament, the beginning of the trapezius muscle, where the branches of the fourth cervical nerve are located.

The Dazhui point is where the energy meridians of the upper and lower body meet.

10. Fengfu (Palace of the Wind) (Fig. 10).

Location: between the occipital bone and the 1st cervical vertebra, 1 cun (about two and a half centimeters) above the posterior hairline.

The point is determined in a sitting position with the head thrown back.

Topography: the point is located between the trapezius muscles, where the branches of the occipital artery, the third cervical nerve and the large occipital nerve are located.

This point is part of the intracranial pump that lifts up the cerebrospinal fluid and the flow of Qi energy.

11. Naohu (brain door) (Fig. 11).

Location: On the midline of the head, on the upper edge of the occiput, about four centimeters above the Fengfu point.

The point is determined in a sitting position.

Topography: in this area are located occipital artery and great occipital nerve.

In the energy structure of a person, this point is considered the "upper Outpost" - a place where the movement of Qi energy is difficult.

12. Baihui (One hundred meetings) - point of the crown (Fig. 12).

Location: On the midline of the head, at a distance of 7 cun (about eighteen centimeters) from the back of the hairline and 5 cun (about thirteen centimeters) from the front of the hairline, or in the middle of the line connecting the top of the ears.

The point is determined in a sitting position. The location of the point corresponds to the parietal fossa on the line connecting the tops of the auricles.

Topography: the point is located among the tendon helmet of the head, where the arterial network of anastomoses is located between the right and left surfaces of the temporal artery, a branch of the frontal nerve passes from the first branch of the trigeminal nerve.

When the Bai Hui point is open, the ability to see the aura and the “guiding fire” that shows the way during out-of-body travel may appear.

13. Tianmu (Heavenly Eye) - the point of the pituitary gland (Fig. 13).

Location: on the midline of the forehead, above the Yingtang point by a segment equal to the width of the orbit from its medial to lateral edge.

It is believed that it is in this place that the human spirit is concentrated.

14. Yingtang (Print Hall) - Upper Dantian

Location: midway between the eyebrows.

Topography: in the center of the bridge of the nose, in the middle of the line connecting the inner ends of the eyebrows.

The Yin Tang point is the center of the Upper Dan Tian, the place where the finest of the energy substances of the human body is stored.

15. Yinjiao (Gum Point) - Heavenly Pond (Fig. 15).

Location: on the border of the transition of the mucous membrane of the upper lip to the gum, that is, on the frenulum of the upper lip.

The point is determined in the prone position, pulling the
