Andrey Ramses Qigong

THREE STAGES OF MASTERY
Stage 1 - health.
2nd stage - gaining strength (super quality or super strength). Strength should be understood as those abilities and skills that you acquire as a result and which you did not possess before.
3rd stage - enlightenment or Buddhahood. This stage is the ultimate goal of Buddhism and Taoism.
SOME THEORETICAL POSTULATES
Six levels of mastering internal styles:
1. Body movement;
2. The movement of the breath;
3. Movement of consciousness;
4. Movement (regulation) Qi (universal energy, in this case considered as the energy of the body, bioenergy or animal magnetism);
5. Movement of the spirit-mind (Chinese equivalent of Western willpower).
6. Refusal of control over any action - immersion in contemplation.
"From the Great Void, from SOMETHING, the Great Limit was born, which gave rise to two Great Beginnings - Yin and Yang, which gave rise to the darkness of things. And ten thousand things again fell into the Void" ("Internal Canon").
In the beginning you are in a state of Not Knowing. Starting to practice, you learn to distinguish in yourself the Great Limit, which means the division into Yin and Yang (two opposite principles that make up our Universe). With regard to Qigong, Yin and Yang can be represented as inhalation and exhalation, right and left, up and down, tension and relaxation, front and back of the body, the path of fire, water, and so on. When you do the exercises, you study thousands of objects and their variations. But the meaning of the practice is to reduce all these changes to Yin and Yang. When you can clearly distinguish which element refers to what, then you move on to the next stage of returning to the Void. In this state, you give up control over body movements, breathing, and consciousness, and you may even stop breathing altogether for a period of time. This is what "absorption in contemplation" is. It is described by Zhou Zonghua in the book "The Tao of Meditation": "Suddenly, against your will, breathing automatically stops. For a long time it is absent. Then there is very weak prenatal breathing.... When people reach the top of the mountain, they do not argue whose path was wiser, but simply look around the earth and sky, experiencing awe and peace. And they return again and again to experience this feeling of the totality of being.
FIRST PART
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
CONTRAINDICATIONS TO EXERCISES
Mental disorders. The use of drugs and psychotropic drugs, alcohol.
ROOM
We recommend exercising outdoors in calm weather, or in a well-ventilated area that is free of drafts and free of any fragrances or chemicals. Aromas can have a certain effect on the psyche, and chemicals will distort the effect and cause allergic reactions, loss of appetite, sleep disturbance, general malaise; irritation; nausea, headache
It is not recommended to practice indoors, the walls or floor of which are covered with tiles, as well as with linoleum, it should be covered with a carpet.
It is not recommended to practice with electrical appliances turned on, especially a computer. It is also undesirable to watch TV, listen to radio or music.
It is better to keep pets and indoor plants in a different room during practice. In particular, the reaction of animals to your activities may be inadequate.
You should study in a private environment where you cannot be disturbed by people, phone calls, pagers or faxes.
CLOTHES
Better to practice naked. At the same time, women are advised to cover the inguinal region, remove the bra so that the breasts are in a free, unconstrained state. You can't get naked in the cold. You should not be cold or sweaty from excess clothing. Clothing must be loose. It is desirable to use natural materials, excluding synthetics. Men are advised to remove their underwear so that the genitals and especially the testicles are completely free.
ACCESSORIES
It is recommended to take off metal, magnetic and electromagnetic objects - watches, bracelets, rings, chains, pendants, hairpins, cell phones.
FOOD
Qigong allows classes after eating, but not earlier than 30 - 60 minutes after eating. You should not engage in hungry - you can "burn" the stomach. Drinking alcohol 1.5-2 hours or 30 minutes after class is acceptable. It is not recommended to smoke, drink cold water, fruits, ice cream before and after class. Any chilled food and liquid take energy from the stomach and negate the effect of exercise, you should always be aware of the dangers of eating such food and drinks.
SEX
Men are advised not to practice qigong before and after sex. On average for a man who practices qigong is allowed to have sex once every 3 to 4 days. It is recommended to ejaculate only once during intercourse. In accordance with the postulates of Taoist sexual practices and traditional Chinese medicine, the recovery of the body after ejaculation occurs on the fourth day. With the right exercises, you increase male power. You experience an erection more often than before the practice.  Men over 30 are recommended to ejaculate from 1 time in 7-10 days to 1 time per month. Over 50 years of age, ejaculation is not recommended.
Women should not exercise during menstruation, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
IN DISEASES
It is not recommended to engage in any diseases and injuries during the acute phase. You can start classes only in the remission stage.
PERSONAL HYGIENE
It is not recommended to take a shower or bath an hour before and after classes. It is not recommended to visit the toilet within an hour after class, as when the sphincters of the anus and urethral sphincter relax, energy leaves the body.
STUDY MODE
It is better to do it in the evening before bedtime, or in the morning after sleep. You should not practice if you are very tired, have not had enough sleep, or are nervous.
TECHNIQUE
Performing the exercise in a sitting position on a chair.
Sit down in such a way that the genitals are in limbo. The testicles in men should hang freely. Feet are parallel, shoulder width apart. The foot rests on the floor with its base with concentration on the "bubbling source" point. This is the highest part of the arch of the sole of the foot. When breathing, the pads of the toes seem to hug the floor. This position is called rooting or grounding. The angle between the lower leg and thigh is 90 degrees. The back bends in such a way that if a straight stick is applied to the spine, then it should touch the back with four points:
1st point - arch of the coccyx;
- 2nd point - area of the "gate of vitality" point. Approximately this is the point of the spine where the lowest ribs on the back converge. It is located somewhere at the level of the solar plexus;
3rd point - the first option - the middle between the shoulder blades (meaning their protruding angle), the second option - the most prominent thoracic vertebra between the shoulder blades;
- 4th point - along the midline of the head at the junction of the occipital and parietal bones. it the most convex part of the occiput on the line dividing the head in half.
Shoulders are at the same level. It is very important that your chest and shoulders remain still while breathing. The head tilts slightly forward so that the top of the head looks up, as if it were suspended. The shoulders are slightly turned inward and rounded. The back is slightly rounded, and the chest is as if recessed. If the position is correct, then with strong pressure with the thumb on the solar plexus area, you do not feel pain, or you can easily endure it. Pressure is applied to a point located at the junction of the lower ribs or to the width of the phalanx of the index finger downwards from the above point along the midline of the body. Hands are located on the knees, or are collected in the lock and rest with the elbows on the hips. In men, the right hand covers the left hand, in women it is vice versa. It is important that your chest and shoulders are in the same position during breathing.
BODY POSITION DURING EXERCISE
- feet are parallel, shoulder width apart;
- toes, heel, base of the feet, firmly resting on the surface;
- the body leans slightly forward so that the weight of the body is evenly distributed between the buttocks and the arch of the feet - the "bubbling source" points;
- the angle between the lower leg and the thigh should be 90 degrees;
- genitals hanging from the edge of the chair;
- hands rest on knees or taken to the castle;
- the spine is bent so that the back of the head, the middle of the back between the shoulder blades, the protruding vertebra of the cervical spine and the sacrum are on the same line;
- shoulders are rounded and are on the same line;
- the chest is slightly recessed so that when you press the solar plexus with your thumb, pain is not felt, or it is minimal;
- the head leans forward so that the top of the head looks up.
With the correct body position, your spine seems to be stretched in two different directions. One force through the top of the head "pulls" up, and the second force behind the base of the coccyx "pulls" down. In this case, you should rely on the buttocks and the base of the feet. You should get 6 points of support: feet; buttocks; coccyx and crown.
WAYS OF BREATHING

I. "LOWER-ABDOMINAL BREATHING"
