Irina Krasotkina Thalasso and relaxation

CHAPTER 1
THE ART OF RELAXATION, OR JUST RELAXATION

Relaxation in Latin means "relaxation", the process of establishing thermodynamic equilibrium in the physiological system (that is, relieving nervous and muscle tension).
Even in ancient times, people paid attention to the fact that the body needs unloading and protection from stressful conditions. Even then, a person sought to free himself from negative energy by contemplating the stars, through fishing or creating rock art.
A modern person is subject to many risk factors, stress, constantly experiencing increased mental and physical stress, which adversely affects the nervous and cardiovascular systems, reducing the body's resistance. Sometimes you don’t even notice that you are becoming irritable, quick-tempered, nervous. Over time, it becomes increasingly difficult for you to pull yourself together at a particularly important, critical moment in your life.
All this is fraught with consequences and threatens, at best, with a nervous breakdown, and at worst, it can result in mental disorders, cause memory loss and physical failure, that is, damage to the vital functions of organs and even paralysis.
Nervousness leads to a deterioration not only in mood, but also in general well-being, since with constant nervous tension, arterial and intracranial pressure rises, and the body's immune defenses are weakened. Most diseases in our troubled age are caused by stress and a constant lack of free time.
In a stressful situation, the body begins to overspending vital substances. Prolonged stress often leads to muscle strain, which causes headaches, lowers concentration. You easily fall into a depressive state, you are tormented by headaches and insomnia.
Fortunately, there are many techniques and techniques that help you relax and recharge with new energy. The best way to relieve nervous and muscular tension is contact with nature. No wonder there is even such an expression: “The sun, air and water are our best friends!”.
First of all, fresh air has a beneficial effect on the body. Walking, especially in the forest, helps to calm the nervous system, stimulate breathing and circulation. The green color of the foliage has a calming effect. The color of greenery usually evokes in us associations with relaxation, summer, nature, so doctors recommend having more flowers in the house or adding some elements of green color when decorating the interior of an apartment - paintings or murals depicting nature views, etc.
Having left the city, in the forest, you can run, enjoy the landscape, take a deep breath - all this helps to relieve tension, relax the body and cleanse the lungs. If it is not possible to get out into the forest, take daily evening walks, which not only relieve fatigue and lethargy, but also normalize sleep.
The sun is also our best friend, unless we abuse it. Sunbathing has a beneficial effect on the state of the body. Hot sun rays are known to have a relaxing effect, so sunbathing is also used to relieve stress.
After air and sunbathing, it is very useful to take water procedures. It doesn't matter which type of procedure you choose; contrast showers, hydromassage, baths with the addition of herbal decoctions and sea salt, hot or even mud baths - everything will benefit. The effect of sea baths is especially effective.
Swimming is a great way to relieve stress. If there is no suitable reservoir near your home, do not worry: you can visit the pool, which is more hygienic, since in natural reservoirs the water can be highly polluted and contain substances harmful to the body.
One of the most effective ways to relax the body is massage. When you are sad or unwell, you really want someone to stroke your head or shoulder. Here it is, a subconscious craving for massage, which is necessary to maintain a good mood and increase vitality. Massage stimulates blood circulation, increases joint mobility, relieves muscle pain, and has a relaxing effect on the nervous system. It also rejuvenates the skin and prevents wrinkles.
Along with massage, there is a method of acupuncture, that is, the impact on the energy points of the body. With a good knowledge of the points responsible for relieving nervous tension and the tone of the skeletal muscles, and with a skillful impact on them, you will quickly learn relax.
Gymnastics is very favorable for the nervous and muscular systems - any small set of exercises, shaping, exercises in water, breathing exercises, yoga.
If you don’t have time or you don’t know exercises that help to quickly relax the body, do it easier: put on some cassette with rhythmic music and move around, making arbitrary movements, jump. No wonder one of the wise men said that movement is life. Music is generally favorable for our body: it helps to relax and establish thermodynamic balance, relieve stress, increase mental and physical performance, and also improves mood, saves from insomnia and generally has a positive effect on well-being.
However, music affects everyone differently: someone needs to move to a dance tune and throw out the accumulated energy, while another person needs a more relaxed atmosphere - quiet music, a comfortable rocking chair and a book on his lap or knitting. After all, reading and knitting also have a positive effect on our nerves.
One of the methods of relieving stress is auto-training, that is, the impact on the nervous and muscular systems through the subconscious.
Pets, especially cats, are very good at relieving stress. These are generally very mysterious creatures. Since ancient times, it was believed that cats have the ability to heal. Even doctors recommend that people suffering from cardiovascular and neurological diseases just pet a cat. This favors the nervous system and general well-being, helps maintain normal blood pressure.
Some people like cats, while others like fish and/or songbirds. It has long been noticed that the contemplation of fish swimming in an aquarium calms loosened nerves and relieves stress. The same applies to birds - some people feel better, they forget about their problems for a while if they listen to the birds singing.
Sex is a universal remedy for raising vitality and nervous unloading of the body. What could be more useful than physical and spiritual intimacy with a loved one! Remember Napoleon's words that all great battles are won thanks to the bed.
In general, each person has his own way relaxation. This can be solitaire, computer games (for example, Tetris), sorting out qigong balls or rosaries, someone calms down by drawing or contemplating the exhibits of their collection. Some relieve stress when riding a bicycle, while others need a glass of good wine. In a word, everyone should find their own way of relaxation in order to protect themselves from the harmful effects of depression and stress.
In our book, we want to introduce you in more detail to one of the ways of relaxation - thalasso, the origin of which is rooted in antiquity, and its branches rest on our everyday life. In the next chapter of the book, we will talk about the meaning of this term, which is incomprehensible to many, about the origins of its origin and about the role thalasso plays in our lives and how it affects health.

CHAPTER 2
THALASSO - SYMPHONY OF LIFE

Thalasso in Greek (“thalasso”) means This unique treatment method was developed in France in 1867. Thalassotherapy is a treatment with a sea climate and bathing combined with sunbathing, which very quickly relieves tension, increases skin turgor and helps to eliminate cellulite.
Thalasso is a unique remedy for stress and many diseases. The sea not only heals our bodily and mental wounds, but also refreshes the skin, restores the taste for life.
Since ancient times, it has been noticed that people living by the sea are less likely to get sick, especially diseases of the nervous system.
Salt sea water and algae are indispensable sources of living energy that can bestow extraordinary beauty and excellent health. Sea water is extremely useful, since its composition is close to human blood serum. In addition, salty sea water contains a large number of microelements and microorganisms that stimulate metabolism.
It is unlikely that anyone will disagree with the fact that swimming in the sea is a useful and enjoyable experience. Sea water gently caresses the body, while the salty breeze refreshes the face. Stresses, anxieties and problems seem to dissolve in the waves of the sea surf.
Seaweeds have a truly magical power. Thanks to proteins, salts, vitamins and minerals, such as iodine, silicon, iron, magnesium, algae have become an essential component in cosmetics. The highly concentrated energy of the sea is contained in them and acts on various levels. Potassium removes toxins from the body and excess fluid from the tissues. Calcium improves tissue elasticity. Magnesium significantly strengthens the muscles.
The extracts of these aquatic plants, which are part of day creams, regulate the secretion of sebum, prevent the formation of acne and reliably protect against many harmful environmental factors. Creams containing algae perfectly moisturize the skin and significantly increase its resistance to various bacteria.
Seaweed infusions contribute to weight loss, as they destroy fats in tissues. Tea, including seaweed, strengthens the immune system, increases the body's resistance to various diseases.
The active biological substances of seaweed promote the rapid removal of poisons from the body and enhance the ability of the skin to bind fluid. Thanks to this, normal tissue nutrition is restored and the skin of the face becomes ruddy and fresh.
Water plants are used to treat problem areas through body wraps. Algae well moisturize the skin, strengthen tissues. Algae contain a complete set of substances necessary for our body, which means they help maintain skin elasticity and rejuvenate it.
Seaweed has found wide application in our lives. Due to the high content of iodine, which is often lacking in the body, sea
