The Seven Stages of Self-Realization Volume I Stage Two. Sri Paramahamsa Yogananda

with the outside world through the transmitting and receiving nerves and through the five senses of touch, taste, sight, smell and hearing, by means of sensation anticipation and understanding, the subconscious mind or subconscious or inwardly flowing mind, registers all human experiences, with special memorization of the most important ones.
The semi-superconscious state is felt in deep sleep and the superconscious state is felt in deep meditation. Both of these states have intuitive power. Therefore, also by intuition and without the help of the senses (for sensations do not work during deep sleep), each soul becomes aware of its state of deep sleep upon awakening.

How the superconscious, subconscious and conscious mind works

The superconscious is purely intuitive, all-seeing, always young. Soul consciousness, full of bliss. This superconsciousness descends into the state of deep sleep and becomes semi-superconscious, signified by the semi-conscious state of bliss. After that, this semi-consciousness, descending into a dream state and a state of imagination, becomes the subconscious mind and is indicated by excitement associated with bliss. The subconscious, descending into the nervous system and into the muscles, becomes a conscious state. This conscious state is mostly mixed with grief and very little with a joyful state (for the most part only with joyful hopes).
In the end, the soul's superconsciousness, as long as it is in the brain and in the place between the eyebrows (at the bridge of the nose), and is denoted by the intuitive power of all-seeing bliss, is called "superconsciousness." When the superconsciousness is located in the lower brain and in the lower center of the spine and within it, then this is called the subconscious (a mixed state of joy and hindrances). When this superconsciousness descends into the nerves, into the muscles, and into the senses, it is called the "conscious mind." The subconscious mind, as a manifestation of the superconscious, has intuitive power. That is why sometimes dreams perceived by the subconscious mind come true. Therefore also the strong feelings of the conscious mind also come true.
The superconscious, conscious and subconscious mind all work together. Sometimes one of them acts more than the other two, keeping two of this trio in the rear of the work. If someone is calm and blissful, then his superconsciousness manifests in consciousness. If one is immersed in fantasies, then his subconscious mind manifests. If someone thinks quickly, then his mind hides in itself all the calm or imaginary strokes.
Where is your consciousness concentrated?
The subconscious mind is the mind of memory. He является ментальным хранилищем. He хранит взаперти опыты, которые готовы опять к употреблению при возникновении первой необходимости. Experiences from the conscious mind pass through the subconscious path and remain imprisoned there, in order to exit again through another path into the conscious mind.
The superconscious mind remains hidden under the subconscious mind, acting as a gatekeeper during sleep, keeping the fire of life in the body, including in the performance of its duties the functions of circulating the vital functions. He непрерывно воспринимает сознательные переживания во время пробуждения, поэтому подсознательный ум всегда бодрствует, занимая автоматические органы во время сна и отмечая сознательные переживания во время состояния пробуждения.
The superconscious state knows everything that happens in the subconscious and consciousness. Heо может вспомнить все переживания и опыты, забытые подсознанием и сознанием. The superconscious state can be brought up in the school of the discipline of meditation, and then it will be able to remember the experiences and experiences of past incarnations (incarnations). Jesus, who had a developed superconsciousness, could remember the past incarnation (incarnation) of John the Baptist, when he was Elijah (Matthew 14:11).
The conscious mind manifests only at the time of awakening. He спит во время проявления подсознательного ума. The subconscious mind can be trained to a high degree so that one can note and remember at will all conscious experiences.
As the conscious mind petrifies without exercise or contemplative creative thinking, the subconscious and superconscious mind in most individuals is not properly exercised at all, and thus the subconscious mind is left without creative imagination or memory power, and the superconscious mind loses its all-seeing intuitive power. From this we may deduce that the subconscious mind, similarly left without exercise, develops forgetfulness and lack of memory power. Memory is the power of remembering by which we are saved from eternal childhood and the daily repetition of our experiences and experiences. Through памяти сохраняется идентичность индивидуального существования. For example, one priest who temporarily lost his memory thought he was a dealer in colonial goods, changed his name and opened a colonial trade far from his hometown. Three months later he returned home as a priest. It happened somewhere near Boston, Massachusetts.
Revisiting the first part
To carry out daily duties and affairs, memory is necessary, i.e. the art of remembering experiences of consciousness, subconsciousness and superconsciousness, as well as experiences before birth and after birth. The more you practice remembering the deeply hidden experiences you have gained in life, the more you will develop your memory.
There is really only one mind, the superconsciousness, which is pure, all-seeing, always blissful soul consciousness. As long as it is localized in the brain and in the point between the eyebrows and wonderfully all-seeing power of intuitive bliss, it is called "superconsciousness." When it is located in the lower mind and in the lower part of the spine and in the viscera, then it is called "subconscious." When it enters the nerves, muscles and senses, it is called "consciousness." All 3 parts of the mind work together and sometimes one of them is actively dominant.
When superconsciousness manifests, one becomes calm, blissful, and supremely intuitive. The superconscious mind is the conscience and "guardian angel", always trying to guide you to your highest good. Heо всегда бодрствует, наблюдая за обоими, как за подсознательным, так и сознательным умом.
When the subconscious dominates, a person becomes mediocre, and his words are guided more by habit and mediocrity than by reason. The subconscious mind is a mental refrigerator where all the experiences of the past and thoughts are accumulated in a ready-made form to be called up and used in case of urgent need. The subconscious constantly remembers and accumulates experiences. Heо всегда бодрствует. During the sleep of the body, it acts as the guardian of the body and keeps the bodily organs and the circulatory system functioning so that they can perform their duties. It can be trained to memorize correctly and recall all conscious experiences at will.
The conscious mind manifests only in the waking state. He является мыслящим и рассуждающим разумом и стражем у ворот подсознания; to properly train the subconscious mind, you need to train the conscious mind in creative and productive thinking and open the way to the superconscious mind so that it can express its blissful state and intuitive all-creative power. Through памяти можно contain the identity of individual existence.
From the story "The Big Loser Who Succeeded" you can learn that the law of attraction reigns over people who have the same vibration. You can also achieve success by developing the power to create whatever you want, opening a channel into the superconscious, through meditation reaching out to God, the source of all power and wisdom.
Part II
psychological method
Use your memory only to remember the experiences that will come at the beck and call as your guardian angels and inspirators. To use memory to remember bad experiences is to fill your mental temple with torturing mental demons. Whatever evil you have done in the past, do not call it back into your present consciousness again. What has passed belongs to your lifeless ignorant self and therefore does not belong to you. Only good actions and their effect in the past and present are your rich treasures that you like to keep. Therefore, do not look at the bad, do not listen to the bad, do not smell, do not taste, do not touch, do not think and do not wish anything bad, so as not to remember this and not defile the Heavenly Temple in your heart. If you experience only good things, then you will find that only angelic thoughts surround you, and when your spiritual abode does not contain anything evil, then God and the essence of all good things will visit you there.
By now experiencing all the good things in your desires, thoughts and feelings, you will thereby attract all the good things that have been forgotten and that are hidden in your subconscious and superconscious mind. As you remember all the good things, you will also remember the best of all good things, God, who was so long removed from you because of your mortal forgetfulness.
Execute every task, great or small, with quick, cheerful attention. Remember that attention is a needle that sews seams in the register of memory cells. Therefore, you will also remember deep joys and sorrows. Therefore, every excitation of the senses contributes to memory. A person without attention is like without a tool that awakens memory. Absent-mindedness makes a blunt needle of attention.
Every day try to memorize a song and write it in a week or two in your spare time. If you repeatedly read any attention-grabbing poem (that you like) and saturate it with deep attention and feeling, then you can easily repeat it. If you can't remember, then write a poem, and you can easily reproduce your own poems if you can't remember poems written by others.
Try every night to remember the little things that happened in the past week. Do the same every month, and at the end of the year, try to remember the details of all the major events of the month or year that
