Omni diet. Tana Amen

in the world could understand my body or take my health and nutrition as seriously as I can take myself. I have always been a fighter, so I decided for myself that in this battle I will literally fight for my life.

And so, over the next ten years, I embarked on a health crusade, a dietary adventure in the fight for my own life. Unfortunately, I repeatedly had to follow the wrong trail, and a couple of times I unexpectedly "fell into the rabbit hole." But, fortunately, in this difficult and lengthy process, I learned a lot and ultimately developed the Omni Diet - a nutrition program that has already helped thousands of people lose weight, heal and change their lives once and for all.

From extreme to extreme

I am one of those ladies who will do everything to achieve their goal. So for starters, I decided to try a very strict diet.

While studying at the university, I learned about the strong connection between plant foods and health, so I began to follow a strict vegetarian diet. Realizing that many vegetable “meat substitutes” are highly processed and stuffed with all kinds of nitrates and fillers, I abandoned all ready-made types of such “meat” and other substitutes and included in my diet a huge amount of fresh fruits, as well as dried fruits, vegetables, pasta, whole grain bread, whole wheat, barley, rice and other grains.

At first I felt great! I have much more strength and energy, and problems with sleep are gone. Avoiding processed foods and huge daily portions of sugary soda definitely brought a positive result. However, less than a month later, I began to experience sleepiness during the day, eczema appeared on my face, and insomnia again made itself felt. Three months later, I was looking forward to the results of the blood test, hoping for a dramatic change for the better. However, tests showed that cholesterol and triglyceride levels were actually higher than ever before! And I didn’t eat anything that would contain cholesterol. Somehow, replacing meat with lots of fruits, pasta, breads and cereals only increased my blood levels of triglycerides and cholesterol. As a result, my health has only gotten worse!

Then, as you might guess, I decided to go all-in and bet on the other extreme: a high-protein diet. For three months, I completely gave up sugar and grains and began to eat high-quality natural animal proteins. I was delighted when it turned out that the level of cholesterol and triglycerides began to return to normal. I have become more energy and strength, and concentration improved again. However, along with a large amount of proteins, I did not receive enough plant food necessary for the body. And the science is pretty clear on this issue (and the opinion of all nutritionists, without exception, is the same here): eating a large amount of fresh plant foods reduces the risk of developing heart disease, cancer, diabetes and other chronic diseases. Therefore, I needed to increase my intake of micronutrients, phytonutrients, and polyphenols that come from plant foods in order to minimize the risk of developing diseases that are part of my genetic material.

So, I went from one extreme to another and still did not achieve the expected drastic changes. I wanted everything at once - and I was not going to settle for just one thing or make a deal with my own health.

Having found myself at the crossroads of various dietary approaches to the issue of nutrition, based on the experience gained so far, I realized that strict diets are not the answer.

And then I decided at all costs to find a middle ground.

I ventured into "forbidden lands, uncharted waters" - all in order to find the truth. After countless hours of searching and research, during which I could not stop thinking about my "bipartisanship", I finally developed a nutrition plan for omnivores that included both animal proteins and plant-based foods. Consisting of 70% natural plant foods and thirty% low-fat, high-quality proteins, the Omni Diet includes all the foods that greatly improve human health and promote weight loss, so you don't have to prioritize one or the other.

Today, at the age of 43, I feel better than ever in my life. And the level of sugar, triglycerides, cholesterol and hormones in my blood reached the optimal value. I see a similar result in thousands of people who have adopted a dietary program, who, having begun to use the healing power of healthy foods to their fullest, were able to cure their diseases, changed the fate prepared for them by bad heredity, improved metabolism in the body, achieved hormonal balance and lost weight, dropping an incredible amount of excess weight.
