The Vedic approach to conception and childbirth. Mathura Mandal dasa

not to live with dignity. They did not teach to live in a family, fulfilling their functions and duties, giving themselves to another and completely taking it for themselves. Man is accustomed to take, but not to give himself. He always leaves a piece of freedom for himself, depriving another of her. If this were not the case, marriages would strong. So, the one who has the weakest (in the sense of self-protrusion) energy or who does not want to fight for a place under the sun becomes a point of contact with other universes. Through it, control and filtering out the harmful influence of the surrounding world on the family is carried out. Most often it is a child, a woman or a weak man. If this is a child, then in most cases this is the first child, but if he has elbows, and after a while another one is born, then the second child becomes the checkpoint. All the worst goes to the "border guard", he is usually frail and sick, naughty, sleeps badly. The most annoying thing is that this place should be the one who has the strongest energy and who is really able to protect the family from external influences. In the worst case, such a family pulls the strap of a joyless life, the husband walks, the woman suffers, fades, grows old and withers. Or they get divorced, and the happiness of that woman who has found a man who really understands the whole situation described above, and wants to create a strong family based on the principles of love and harmony.
Let's try to sum up. A house in which love and harmony do not live cannot be called a house. They sleep in it, eat, store things. This is not a house. A house is a place where people love, respect and trust each other, where heat is not from a battery, stove or heater, it is warm for everyone living in it. The house should bring joy and happiness, and not attachment to living space, so familiar to many of us ...
What is dosha.
The whole system of Ayurvedic medicine rests on two pillars - maintaining the body and its components in an equilibrium balance and treating imbalances, if they nevertheless arise.
What are body components? These include the three doshas, the seven tissues and impurities. Let's accept for a while the axiom that everything in this world consists of the five smallest bricks - the primary elements. They are called Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. These are not just some names taken from the ceiling. Each of them has its own qualities peculiar only to them. During conception, the primary elements are grouped in pairs (Ether with Air, Fire with Water and Water with Earth), thus forming the three most important components of the body - dosha. The names of doshas come from the name of the main primary element that creates them. Vata means Air, Pitta means Fire and Kapha means Water or Slime. Doshas have the same qualities as the primary elements that form them. Everything in a person depends on them - his individual constitution is made up of a proportional number of doshas that make up the body, his health - depends on the balance of tridoshas, and diseases - on imbalance; character, habits, strength or weakness - all without exception. Each person by nature has a certain "quantity" of each of the doshas. It is very difficult to keep all three doshas in balance, which is why Ayurveda calls them painful beginnings. For the most part, people are under the mixed influence of the three doshas, so their features are present in every person, but in different proportions, aggravating with the strengthening of the influence of the corresponding dosha on a person.
Vata dosha occupies a dominant position among the tridoshas, as it is the most active and mobile of them. Still - it consists of Ether and Air - the most "elusive" of the primary elements. Of course, every cell of our body consists of all three doshas, but still, the main places of Vata dosha in the body are the rectum, and indeed the lower body, pelvis, lower back and hips. Mobile Vata dosha is responsible for all types of movement in the body, so where. movement, there and Vata. It promotes the beating of the heart, pulse, movement of impulses along the nerve trunks, bones in the joints, blinking, breathing, swallowing, etc. Vata dosha does not contain a drop of moisture - it is very dry. Therefore, drought, dry food, cold frosty weather combined with wind, mainly in the morning at dawn, or in the evening at sunset, increase Vata dosha.
Tridosha is closely connected with the mental activity of a person. Vata dosha gets out of balance due to voluptuousness, anxiety and fear, and, as in a vicious circle, contributes to their strengthening. Anxiety gives rise to anxiety, anxiety - impatience, impatience develops into fear for the future, fear causes throwing, in general, a typical example of the occurrence of Vata imbalance. But on the other hand, Vata dosha has many positive aspects. It gives mental and physical indefatigability, endurance, speed of reaction, mobility, flexibility, developed imagination. Excess Vata dosha is removed from the body with the help of an enema, oil massage, all kinds of oils.
If the Vata dosha in the body is out of balance, a person manifests the following symptoms: spasms, convulsions, trembling of the limbs, trembling in the body, pain, insomnia, constipation, gas, neurosis, high blood pressure, menstrual syndrome, arthritis, lumbago, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, shortness of breath, exhaustion, etc. Elderly people are under the influence of this dosha, therefore, everything that contributes to its increase is contraindicated for them. In winter, they should avoid hypothermia, drafts, restlessness and excitement. People of Vata constitution are contraindicated for prolonged fasting, especially dry ones.
The predominance of Vata dosha gives a person a good but short memory. People under its influence quickly remember, but also quickly forget information. They are very rarely vindictive, and cannot keep a grudge in their hearts for a long time. Since Vata dosha is the most volatile of all the doshas, it tends to get out of balance most of the time. All diseases begin with an imbalance of Vata dosha. This is due to its enormous mobility and activity.
The first dosha to go out of balance is always Vata dosha. Its imbalance can arise due to the slightest trifle - cold windy weather, long and tedious watching TV, worry about a husband or child returning home late from work or a walk, irregular meals. Excessive fatigue and smoking also cause an imbalance in this dosha. People with aggravated Vata dosha are not recommended to eat cold (ice cream, cold milk or a cocktail) or unheated food, everything fried and old, drink cold tap water, eat cookies, waffles, crackers without the proper amount of liquid. Spicy, bitter and astringent foods can also lead to Vata dosha imbalance.
In order to bring the upset Vata dosha into balance, it is necessary either to reduce it or increase it, depending on the type of violation. To reduce its level in the body, one must adhere to a diet that increases Pitta dosha, and to increase it, do pranayama or follow a regimen that increases it.
Each dosha begins to unbalance from its more subtle, psychological or subtle-psychic manifestation, which leads to an incorrect, inadequate reaction to people or manifestations of the surrounding world - adharma, sinful activity. All negative emotions such as anger, swearing, jealousy, envy, fornication or pride lead to subtle violations of the tridosh. These disorders, when accumulated to a certain level, cause diseases.
Pitta dosha consists of Fire and Water, having absorbed the main qualities of these primary elements - heat and humidity. Concentrating mainly in the heart, liver, gallbladder, stomach and small intestine, Pitta dosha resides in the middle part of the body. Everything hot excites the already hot Pitta - spicy, spicy foods, sauces, hot, summer weather, "hot" drinks and thrills. Where there is fire, there is heat and Pitta is the fire of digestion and the fire of hot blood, sweat on a hot afternoon, bile in the liver, and also the eyes are its most favorite places. Its imbalance most often occurs in the midday heat and at midnight - during the greatest activity of this dosha. Hot Pitta dosha does not like summer, and wholeheartedly rejoices at the onset of autumn coolness and winter frosts, oppressing its influence. Excess Pitta dosha from the body is recommended to be removed with a laxative and ghee.
Pitta is a fairly active dosha, it governs people in their prime - from 20 to 55 years old.
If Pitta dosha is out of balance, a person will experience the following symptoms: body odor, skin diseases, ulcers (both external and internal), hemorrhoids, blood diseases, heartburn, liver disease, gastritis, impaired skin pigmentation, decreased vision, fever, fainting, irritability, anger and anger.
The main psychological causes of Pitta dosha imbalance are anger, anger, hatred, intolerance.
A person with a Pitt constitution has many positive qualities - his enterprise knows no bounds, and his self-confidence can only compete with intelligence, he loves to take risks. Firmness and purposefulness in life are the main positive qualities of this person. The main drawback is that such a person moves ahead to his goal without choosing means, knocking down everything and everyone in his path.
The main manifestation of Pitta dosha imbalance is an increase in body temperature. Pitta dosha is the second most active in the body, so it is twice less
