Yoga for children, even such small ones, is very popular today. But children’s yoga has its own characteristics.

Children, like adults, should practice yoga, if only because this practice has a positive effect on the entire body. It not only develops flexibility and plasticity, but also has a beneficial effect on internal organs, speeds up metabolic processes. From an early age, spinal mobility should be developed – in the future, this will save you from many health problems. If a child has problems with posture, scoliosis, yoga is an ideal option for him. Yoga also develops mindfulness, tolerance and calmness in children. If you want yoga to become an integral part of your child’s life, try to dedicate it to the practice from an early age.

Already three-year-old children are able to perform elementary asanas in a playful way. Practice at this age can last no more than 10 minutes a day, with age the time will gradually increase.

From the age of 7-8, children can already consciously approach the practice of yoga, then classes average half an hour. They gradually take on the outlines of adult practice, and the teacher slowly leaves the “bunny ears”, “like the clock is ticking”, telling the child what this or that asana is called, dedicating the student to the essence of yoga
