Cycling styles

Each cyclist before buying a bike needs to choose his own riding style. Not all cyclists know the disciplines of riding a two-wheeled friend. Therefore, they may mistakenly purchase a bicycle.
It is worth figuring out which bike suits a certain style of riding.

The main style is cross-country.

This style suits a bike with a single shock, multiple speeds and fairly light weight.

Freeride

This style involves free skating, jumping and various tricks. Bikes of this style usually have two shocks, speeds, disc brakes.

Straight

Riding with the performance of tricks and jumping from curbs, stairs, etc. is characteristic of this style of riding. Straight велосипеды не оснащены скоростями и зачастую даже тормозами.

Downhill

It means riding from the mountains on a specially equipped bike. Such bicycles are equipped with two shock absorbers, reliable disc brakes, and the weight of these bicycles is more than 20 kilograms.

biker cross

This style includes racing on a special track with jumps and other equipment. In this style, bikes with one shock absorber or, in other words, hardtails are used.

Bicycles without a saddle are referred to as the trial style.

Cyclists of this style are great professionals in their field, as this style involves jumping, jumping over and other overcoming obstacles. On such bicycles there are also no speeds and shock absorbers, such bicycles have a weight of approximately 10 kilograms.

These disciplines are worth knowing before buying a bike. Initially, it is difficult to guess with the style that is right for you. After purchasing a bike, no matter what style, you need to buy equipment and take care of your safety.
