Interval running during “drying”

A lot of athletes, and not only athletes, are trying to lose weight. Of course, the main factor in losing weight is jogging. But is jogging really that effective? The answer is no!
An ordinary person jog for about 10-30 minutes – during this time, fat burning occurs at a very low level due to the fact that the body receives energy from glycogen, which is located in the cells of our body. Our body easily replenishes this glycogen from the simplest sugars that we eat so much. To burn all the accumulated glycogen, we need to run for about 50 minutes! To effectively burn fat, we need to deceive the body.
So how does fat burning happen? With aerobic exercise, blood flow to the muscles increases, oxygen consumption also increases, and oxygen is an acidic environment in which fat begins to break down. It is when running with a trike, running for about 50 minutes, we burn the accumulated glycogen, and then, if we run for another 10-20 minutes, exactly the stage in which the intensive breakdown of fats begins will begin.

But there is one thing! at the 60th minute of running, the body begins to look for alternative sources of energy – and these are the amino acids that are in our muscles. Therefore, jogging is not the best option for losing weight.

Jogging comes to the rescue. Consider the work of our body during interval running. The first 100 meters is the maximum acceleration. At the same time, our body spends a large amount of energy – just the accumulated glycogen. After acceleration, there is a step of 100 meters, at this moment the body must quickly accumulate energy for the next jerk, but for this it already uses subcutaneous fat. This happens because after the maximum jerk, a lot of oxygen enters the muscles.

Interval training option:
Interval run 30-40 minutes: 100 meters on foot, 100 meters jogging, 100 meters maximum acceleration – then continue in the same order.

Of course, interval training has its drawbacks: a large load on the cardiovascular system, a load on the nervous system, and the complexity of such training at the physical level.

Cardio workouts are not limited to running. There are many high-intensity interval workouts that combine many exercises. For example, the same crossfit is a high-intensity explosive type of training. There are many training programs that are aimed at burning fat.
