4 Recipes for a Real Protein Delight!

These incredibly delicious, protein-packed treats from Chef Patrick Stark will satisfy your sweet tooth and protein cravings for your muscles.

Sometimes, if your body is craving sinfully sweet ingredients like sugar, condensed milk, or whipped cream, you have to listen to it. But indulging in a sweet treat doesn’t mean you can’t fuel your muscles with a good serving of protein at the same time!

Here you’ll find four recipes for treats sweet enough to satisfy even the most inveterate sweet tooth, yet packed with the one nutrient you need for recovery and growth.

Keep in mind that this is a definite relief, and sweets should not form the basis of your diet, but they are great for satisfying momentary needs.

Now grab your bowl and whisk and get ready to indulge in delicious delight!

1. Chocolate protein yogurt with berries

If you’re looking to take your standard morning yogurt up a notch, this protein yogurt is the perfect start to your day. Chocolate protein powder gives the dessert a sweet taste, and muesli will crunch nicely in your mouth.

Ingredients:

Fat-free Greek yogurt – 1-1.5 cups (250 ml)
Whey protein chocolate flavor – 1 scoop
Fresh berries – ¼ cup
Water – ¼ cup
Muesli (optional)
Cooking:

Combine the protein powder and water in a bowl with a whisk or blender, then add the yogurt and mix.
Pour the mixture into a cup and sprinkle with berries and muesli.

2. Chocolate Avocado Protein Cake

What could be better than a delicious chocolate brownie? Only the tastiest chocolate protein cake! This recipe uses standard baking ingredients such as sugar, flour, and vanilla extract, but also adds protein powder. Avocado adds extra flavor and provides a heart-healthy dose of omega-3s.

If you deserve to eat sweets today, you can add ice cream from the following recipe.

Ingredients:

All-purpose flour – 1-1.5 cups (250 ml)
Sugar – 1 cup
Chocolate Whey Protein – 3/4 cup
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Avocado puree – 1 cup
Vanilla or plain soy milk – ½ cup
Water – 1/3 cups
Vanilla – 1 tsp
Cooking:

Preheat oven to 175 degrees. Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish and set it aside.
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, protein powder, baking powder and salt well. Postpone.
In another bowl, whisk together mashed avocado, soy milk, water, and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour into a baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is no longer shiny and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few crumbs.
Let the cake cool completely, then slice and serve.

3. Unwhipped Vanilla Protein Ice Cream

You don’t need an ice cream maker to make this old-fashioned treat at home! This recipe takes the rich flavor of vanilla cake and channels it into a frosted creamy treat.

Make your favorite dessert into scoops of ice cream or just enjoy it with a sprinkle of berries. Just beware of a headache after ice cream!

Ingredients:

Sweet condensed milk – 400 ml
Vanilla – 1 tsp
Vanilla Flavored Whey Protein – 1 scoop
Густые сливки, холодные — 2 cups (по 250 мл)
Cooking:

Pour the condensed milk into a large bowl and stir in the vanilla.
Using a mixer, beat the cream and protein powder for three minutes until the mixture is thick with a wavy surface.
In a separate bowl, gently mix a tablespoon of whipped cream with condensed milk. This “lightens” the condensed milk and makes it easier to mix with the rest of the whipped cream.
Gently fold in remaining whipped cream and condensed milk. The mixture will look like a lump at first, but will become soft and silky as you add it. Stop when only a few small lumps remain.
Place the mixture in the freezer. Flatten the top with a spatula and place wax paper on top to prevent ice crystals from forming.
Freeze for at least 6 hours. The more you leave the ice cream in the freezer, the firmer it will be, so don’t leave it for more than two weeks.

4. Protein flan

Flan is one of those desserts that is not often remembered and is not often prepared at home. Flan is a small, creamy caramel pie that is very easy to make. Guests will be impressed by your bakery craftsmanship, but at the same time it won’t take long for you to share the recipe with them.

The secret is to use Jell-O jelly mix. It comes with a small bag of caramel and makes the whole process quick and easy.

Ingredients:

Jell-O Jelly Mix – 1 Pack
Молоко — 2 cups (по 250 мл)
Snickerdoodle whey protein – 1 scoop
Cooking:

Open the bag of caramel from the flan mix package. Разлейте равномерно на 4 маленькие cups или на одной миске.
Add the flan mixture to the milk and stir (use 2% or whole milk for best results). Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in protein powder.
Slowly pour evenly over the caramel. Let cool for one hour or until firm (2 hours if cooked in a bowl). Place carefully on a plate with a spatula. Store in refrigerator.
